- Remember Boss Hogg? From the hit TV series "Dukes of Hazzard?" Well...he was driven around in a Cotillion White Cadillac Coupe de Ville from 1969. I got to drive one. Not THE one, but very similar. Loved it! Ride along with me.
Boss Hogg's Cadillac de Ville convertible was a 1970 model. It has the classic white exterior with white leather interior.
FYI Boss Hogg's was 1970. different tail lights are the give away
If I was Boss Hogg, I wouldn't have been trying to chase down those Duke boys. I would've been going after Daisy Duke. 😊😊
His car is a 1970 de Ville convertible in classic white with white leather interior.
I grew up with a 1969 DeVille, color code 49 Empire Maroon Metalic with black Ostrich leather interior and white top. Learned to drive on it too.
Back in 1969, it didn't matter that this car got 9 miles per gallon. In Maryland, regular gas was 29 cents per gallon, and premium was about 39 cents. In those days, my dad could fill up his Oldsmobiles, and get change back from a $5 bill. Also, the attendant would pump the gas for you, clean the windshield, and check the oil.
If that was the original top, it looks like it is still in great shape. It's good to see you wearing the Jacksonville Jaguars hat. They made a great comeback to beat the Chargers in the playoffs last week. 😊😊
I was a fan before they were good :D
Boss Dougg
Not really a fan of white suits.
ID HATE TO HEAR THE BS IF YOU FOUND A GOOD CAR.
I will never get tired of driving her.
I just got one of these for free needs a ton of work
I have one the same color
Great video, just subbed
Thank you!
Boss Hogg's car was originally gold. Once in an episode they opened the trunk and the inside of the deck lid was gold.
9:52 - Guy who back out into a busy road in front of our Caddy was at church!
It was a Thursday!!
Really like the 69 better than the 70. The front and back had such a classic look.
Gorgeous car!
i like both equally personally. However, i agree that the 69-70 devilles look way better then the 71.
