Dear Sir. I'm stuck with a VERTIV PDX025. Upon sudden change of power from Generator to Mains through the changeover switch. The following alarm comes up "Compressor Thermal Protection Circuit 1'' comes up. Can you help in solving this problem ?
Hello Buddy, Great video, That unit were you working on is it connected with BMS/STANDBY MODE? If it is can you make a video on how to put PDX on standby and how to remove it from Standby, Thank you for your valuable time.
@D2DNYAC NO worries, I figure it out, the unit was networked and I was trying to put the unit on standby mode, but since it was off by display I was not been avail to put unit on Standby mode, Once I started the unit after that under unit rotation I was available to put the unit in standby mode, Thank you my friend for your reply much appreciated 😀
Can you please explain me how to i decrease the compressor cuttoff time. Currently the difference is 4°c . All i want to say is that if i set the temperature to 23°C compressor generally cuttoff at 19°C . How can i recude it lite by 2 °C atleast. Thank you in advance
@D2DNYAC thanks, I will be replacing six 20 and 30ton Lieberts next week. I've only worked on the older pre 2005 models. I've been watching a lot of your videos about the new icom. Keep them coming👍🏼
If you look at the video you'll see some green writing 160v 1134. That is an Exchanger. Water and refrigerant. 410a runs inside the Crac, the heat is transferred to the water in that exchanger and goes to a Chiller or DryCooler Condenser most likely. You will have pumps on this system with Y-Strainers. So to your question. Why the alarm? and this really should not be an alarm as much as a warning. Most common problem is the condition of the water, how clean are the strainers, are the pumps moving water. Then comes the Condensers, are all the fans running, all the motors are in good condition, are the coils dirty. These Compressors will modulate themselves to keep from going into a High Pressure Event within reason. In many cases you can have Capacity Reduction on uncharacteristically hot days the equipment was not designed for. I can't tell you how many techs have wasted so much time trying to diagnose a problem that doesn't actually exist, the equipment is simple under or over sized. And you need to think about load, kw.. Did anything change in the room. Some switches have engineers that watch this stuff, some don't.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and know how..excellent 👍👍👍
Thanks for watching
Thank you for 2210 in the very beginning love you man. I'm typically in the office and needed to run a call. Pressure is on.

Are the units already networked?

Not sure if you can decrease deadband lower than 4 degrees however you can try
I will also check this out next time I am in front of this unit
I assume its the same for a DS 20ton?
Yes, however DS will have more options and features available to change and view

Can you please aaon units went return do
Not sure if running right
hey i dont understand the question

My screen keeps resetting... it will say system startup in progress and then immediately say system shutdown in progress...
Never experienced this problem so I can’t offer any advice!!
Great video. Thanks.

What's the exact meaning of the capacity Reduction alarm c1
head pressures too high

How to change the pex 3 wellness setting Display Touch screen
What is that?
You didn't mention how to clear the alarms
The simplest way is to turn off the unit from keypad then do a power cycle
Sabes como calibrar pantalla?
No habla Español
How I can calibrate the touch screen. I turned off the unit and power on... but I can't find the menu, when is starting up.... Thank 😅
