Not a UConn fan but I love watching this team play. They’ve got a little bit of everything, great guard play, bigs who can dominate the low block and step out and hit the occasional three, guys like Andre Jackson who knows his role and how to make winning plays. Fun team to watch
I AM a UCONN fan born and raised in CT and seeing this team grow is amazing they have only one player that is gonna be a NBA lottery pick rest the guys been here for 2 or 3 years which is odd now in College Basketball.
IM from Connecticut originally and I'm Happy to see us back where we belong again people forget we got 4 chips 1 away from tieing Duke we belong in the conversation of one the best Basketball programs in History of Men's College Basketball!!!!
It's also great to be back in the Big East conference & that the Big East conference is very competitive. The last couple years in that weirdo American Athletic conference was so depressing.
Was a student in 2014 and I can say up to this point in my life it’s my best memory. Enjoy the run, glad we’re back, and let’s go get the job done in Houston.
San Diego State held Alabama to 23 points in the first half. Coincidentally, held Creighton to 23 points in the second half. Held Furman to 25/27 both halves, and Charleston 29/28 both halves! Not saying they will do it against FAU, but to do it against Alabama, Creighton, Furman and Charleston, all averaging in the 80's, except for Creighton (77) - is more than coincidence! BTW, in the Mountain West Championship game, they held Utah St (another 80 point/game team) to 29/28 both haves. Offensive avg point ranking for 2022 season: Alabama #7, Furman #12, Charleston #16, Utah St #33, and FAU #37, Creighton #64. *Check this out: San Diego State was ranked #183 in average offensive points - this shows you how amazing their Defense has been. San Diego State vs. UCONN 'rematch' of the 2011 Sweet 16, where UCONN (KEMBA WALKER) beat San Diego State (KAWAII LEONARD) to eventually win the National Championship.
Great video. Another key way Andre Jackson finds shooters in transition. He's great at pushing the pace and spraying out to Hawkins, Calcaterra, Alleyne, etc. who flare to the wings. He's always hunting for the 3 in transition instead of a layup.
I’m a UConn fan from Philly and boy I didn’t see this shit coming we was ranked high this year but final four caliber nice at times I couldn’t tell at all
If you’re a student of the game you absolutely love watching this team play. All the action, ball movement, every player knowing their role and fully accepting it. Truly great
I’m in a work league and I have UConn going all the way only team I got correct in the final four if they win their next game I get a 100 dollars so I’m praying
My favorite thing about UConn this tourney is the way they’ve stepped on the gas in the 2nd half. It’s a lot of their tourney games where a 2-3 possession game at halftime becomes a 20 point lead with 10 minutes left lol
I love you’re editing to you’re videos so much, this UConn team has dominated its way to the final four and has done it with one of the most balanced approaches I’ve ever seen!!!
I think Golden State has provided everyone the formula. A point forward, vertical threat, skill & shooters around him, exploiting teams on short rolls, baseline cuts, & slips while also having depth (strength in numbers)
UConn reminds me of the Warriors. Obviously the NBA and NCAA are VERY different games - but both have multiple ball handlers and playmakers, an elite shooter, a point forward, a motion offense with off-ball screening, and depth. Anything is possible (literally) in March Madness, but it's hard to see any of the other 3 teams knocking them off
The 9 deep bench is their real weapon. Sanogo sits 15 minutes a game while a 7 foot 2 shot blocking floor running nightmare takes over. Sometimes the bench plays better than the starters
You have to do a video on St Joseph (Maine) Division 3. Best shooting team in all college basketball and they run an offense with no play calls and no ball screens
Another hoopvision68 masterclass. I know the nba is a completely different game but doc rivers could take some notes on dan hurleys ability to take accountability for not putting his players in successful positions…
As a UCONN fan I have to agree. When I watched them in the beginning of the season make Alabama look like fools I was like holy fuck. If this team plays just decent noone can beat them. Nervous about Miami, I think this game decides the championship.
Painful to watch as an Arkansas fan. What a buzzsaw to run into as a 4 seed. Maddening to watch how easily they get buckets. How in the world did they drop to a 4 seed?
Their stretch in-conference play losing 5 of 6 games.. They struggled to score, couldn't stop dribble penetration, sloppy with the ball in those games. BUT, outside of those games they have been pretty dominant. The Big East was a lot tougher at the top than they got credit for this year.. When UConn is hitting 3's it is a blowout. If they aren't they can still win ugly.. Miami will be an excellent game bc they can shoot it too
What's funny is I think they had a better resume or was comparable to Xavier but it would've been odd to put them on the same seed-line as Xavier considering they were more consistent in conference.
why not? Not only does it give the team confidence, but winning so handily means they didn’t have to task their bodies and minds as much as a very close game. They should be a lot more fresh than Miami is going into the final 4. Also, Miami is one of the smallest teams in college basketball. Their incredible guard play has been their driving force for this final 4 run, and I feel like they’re going to have a tough time scoring with how versatile uconn’s lineup is (they also have one of the best defenses in the country) Not to mention that Sanogo and Clingan are significantly bigger than their 4’s and 5’s, which would be a difficult matchup in general, i mewn look at how difficult of a time Drew Timme had in the second half. If Uconn can limit their guards on the field then i’d say they have a very good chance of pulling through.
Uconn will not know what it is to go through a hurricane but uconn will know what loss is when a hurricane goes through uconn!🌀 😊Uconn will survive to go back home to tell their experience of a Hurricane!
Ok who did they played against again? Iona? At Mary’s ? Arkansas? Gonzaga was their big threat but Gonzaga played like crap. I bet SDSU will beat Uconn in Finals.
@@justinboatwright4318 nothing. SDSU just ran out of gas. It’s hard to win so many games at the last second! Tonight it wasn’t in their favor. Congrats to UConn.

I love how this team is always moving. You can see how players defending them start wearing down by the second half.
yea that’s so true all the games were close to begin and then uconn pulls away by 20 in the second half it’s awesome

Great video. Gonzaga was absolutely broken by Karaban's three just before the half. Go watch the replay and you can see it. That three crushed them.

My entire family of Marquette fans saw what UConn did and chose them as a final 4 team
Now we also all chose Marquette as a final 4 team but... 😂
Marquette was a year early. They’ve got almost everyone back next year they’re pretty easily a T5 team they’re gonna be just fine.
With the way the nba is it’s great seeing basketball played this way they can lead from these fellas
