Shaykh Ahmad Deedat ability to break complex issues down was a gift from Allah. His example even among African like the Zulu and the African tribes was priceless. “Izulu” means heavenly people and” isilwaane” was spot on. May Allah illuminate his grave. Ameen
Ham was the son of Adam and Abraham also means the father of HAM. Cannaan is what happened when moses came to that region and that region was named after Canaan. It is nothing to do with black people. Canaan was not named after anyone else,, that is where he lived and died. And the whole region was named after him. At the time of Abraham the name palestine was not given yet that is why the old testament simply says Canaan. It was changed later to the palistine during 700 to 900 BC. Everyone seems good at first until someone come and says something different. The Japanese and Cihines are all from Ham so according to him they are slaves ha ha ha. When ignorance become too stronge the person will be decieved by any strong religion or even idealogy. Names in the old testament were not given for nothing Thus Canaan was name after Canaan son of Noah for that reason. Now Ask him every one in the past , all the prophets name had meaning because that is how it was done including towns name. So what is the name Isa means? Nothing and that is ok? EVERYSINGLE prophet name has a meaning including Muhammad or AHMED but what is the meaning of ISA no body knows. Now is that the work of the devil or God?

I am an Indian South African Muslimah. Our culture has followed us to SA and many Indians definitely think they are better Muslims than others. I was raised with the idea that I should only be friends with Indians because they are more 'decent' than other cultures. It took a long while to get this out of my system and still today as an adult I find my thinking going down that path. It is true that racism is taught.
Also, the extremely lavish weddings we have with our flashy dress and lots of makeup is against the modesty of Islam. We think we look so good that we even upstage the bride. It would take a lot of courage to be the one cousin that has a simple wedding and feeds the poor a the same table as the wealthy.
It's due to our Indian ancestral cast system that came along to South Africa we find ourselves being far from following the non racial message of Islam. The only time we see an Indian girl in Cape Town marry a Colored or Black will be when he's very wealthy otherwise they only marry in their own cast. Yet some muslim Indians don't want to admit they're racist.

Having a simple wedding as an Indian is almost impossible, even if one spouse wants a simple wedding the other spouse and their family most likely will not. Indian girls in particular like to have big weddings I've noticed, especially if they are their parents' only daughter then it becomes a priority for the parents to have a large wedding.
@@Ahmed-ob6ec I'm talking about Muslims of Indian decent in the same community that does not allow marriage if they're not from the same caste. You won't find a Memon lady marry a Kokani/kokni Muslim in our city.
Indians came in as slaves as well as a social class system already inherent from British India. Into South Africa who then further enforced apartheid and made the indians,coloureds,blacks compete for a place in a white system.
You know indians among themselves have a type of tribalism (Hindu , Muslim ,Tamil , gujrathi, Urdu )as Sheik has also described even among blacks ,language tribes etc

@@darishore814 Spelling doesn't matter when it comes to transliteration brother, if it was in Arabic, then the spelling would matter, but since it's transliterated into English, as long as the point is clear, it's fine. Because English is not like Arabic to begin with.

I am from Durban and can tell you that Mr A Deedat was a very educated man.
This question and video to some extent perpetuate the concept that supposed africans see themselves as less than. That young man's thinking is flawed and a relic of Bantu education. People in Africa do not need foreign spiritual or religious systems to give them answers they have always had.
