Also one that gets crazy hot (and still work perfectly fine). On the other side of the spectrum, there's the Fujitsu PLA (it has a notch running the whole length of its body) which is not only very reliable as well, but also runs cool(ish).
Can you share identifying information about the green keyboard overlay? I have some curiosity about it, & couldn’t manage to see identification for it in the video. It also seems hard to find via google so far.
Can any one here sugest a way to connect a C64 to HDMI or VGA as I am looking to purchase one, for my Speci I have the ZX-HD and VGA-JOY. Was looking for an interface like this for a C64, dont want to use a scart to hdmi upscaler if I can help it.
That keyboard overlay was priceless 😂
Where does Paul sell all these repaired systems?
Quite a few go on Facebook. Some on eBay. I'll try to find out where they're going this time
@morefunmakingit2 That'd be great, thanks. Hopefully some are going somewhere other than Facebook. I closed my Facebook account down years ago.
"S" on the PLA can mean Signetics, a very reliable chip.
Oh yes! You're right. No idea why I'd forgotten that 😆

8:27 don't forget to turn off the power! And maybe unplug.
I probably edited out me switching it off that time. I'm not saying I never do that! 😆 But on this machine it didn't happen.
