First album is more traditional 90s RnB before they start venturing into more clubland and dance derivatives of it (still 90s though) ....Its cool I understand if you dont want captions on videos and for the first album they arent needed.... but just a heads up.. straight after this EP starting with ditto the videos are full of deep lore and/or story so its strongly advisable to have captions on as they are not easy to follow without them... also if they have 2 part videos please do them both as they are both needed for the whole story... (i'm sure you were planning to anyway ) ditto has a side a and b.. and omg is part 3 to it (please make sure its the offifial mv... so many reactors do the official performance mv by accident lol) i know youve done that other guide already but before getting into their ore serious stuff i really do reccomend the (un)helpful guide 2024 version.. as its a lot of fun to watch and informative... and being newer gives a good insight into each of their personalities (unlike the other one) :) and it seems you are still struggling with whos who :P but its cool if you dont want to also :)

When they're in the ladies room & Minji comes out of the stall, she walks over to the mirror where Hanni smudges lipstick on it. That specific day was Minji's bday , so the girls did that impromptu Faux Flame 🔥 , So Minji could make a wish and blow it out 😉. The Cookie sitch was what it was , But there's no Denying that the song and beats are Undeniably addictive. As others have commented, when you do their next Mini EP (OMG) , Ditto is 1st then OMG concludes it. Same for the videos (however Ditto has 2 parts which are connected) Def recommended having the English subs when watching all 3. I am with you.. some stans say 'baking a cookie' is metaphor for 'baking a cd' ... apparently in korea they say baking a cd instead of how we say 'burning a cd'.... its also the stance management made newjeans say it was about after they did damage control after this came out. they also defend it saying the meaning is lost in translation. However when i tell you it was written by an american swede whos native language is english and the song was written in english it totally negates that argument.. its obvious what this song is about... if all the girls were over 18 it would still be questionable but i'd just be like meh.. whatever.. but the fact haerin is 16 if not bad enough Hyein was 14 when this came out.. a literal child... but from here on out they dont have anything else like this do dont worry lol... none of their 1st ep makes my playlist anyway so i have no problems forgetting about cookie anyway lol... i still like their 1st ep but i'm way more into the clubbier stuff that follows the 1st ep :P oh and yes you were completely wrong in guessing whos who in the cookie video lol...

It seems a production choice to have them sounding angelic and airy with softer higher tones for a long time... its only with their most recent comeback where this changed and it seemed they let them have somewhat more freedom with their vocals... you will notice later starting with 'how sweet' that its actually minji and haerin who have the much deeper tones... but yeah initially it was only hyein that they let go a little deeper while still keeping the angelic vocals. And lol at the lollipop scene :) i dunno if you plan to watch clips of them but danielle and haerin are a thing... their ship name is 'Daerin' and they are VERY close... especially during the first year... dani is the most extroverted member and haerin is a maximum extreme spectrum level of introvert... they balance each other out so well and became besties very quickly... fans and even the other members joke about how touchy feely and how close they are.... if you like you could react to 'Daerin flirting and everyone being so done with them' by 'unseriousbunny'.. its very funny.. and sweet.. lol.
