Progress is progress. Do not apologize for being excited about more acres!! We just cleared four acres of overgrown pasture and it feels like the biggest deal. We love seeing you guys move forward!
Fair play lad for that wee speech at the end. I know the struggle trying to get a bit of land in the early stages. I started with 2 calves in the coal house 25 years ago. Almost 150 cows today, and proud of my achievements. Good luck
Was in Aldi today and the lad said we are getting a beast from the east in 2nd week of feb I sure hope we don’t but we need to prepare for the worsts Great to have someone to bring out the flask of teas and hang sandwiches 🥪 ❤❤❤❤
I'm really appreciating-- even more than before-- comparing the different sheep farmers' experience. Not so much re: one is better than another, but that you are each at different places as you expand. I wish you both-- well your entire family-- the best as you move into this next stage.
Congrats getting the extra acres,, My poor dad rip looked after his 2 uncles and aunty for 35 years and they wouldn’t make a will so the land of 50 acres was sold and money divided out between 15 of dad’s brothers and sisters even though they didn’t visit the people in 30 years So now I have my little 2 acres but hopefully one day I can buy a few but every time I try the big farmer pushed the price up It’s great to see you doing great and keep up the good work ❤❤❤❤❤
Nice handy block guys 👌 all the soil and grass improvements you want or need to do, do it now, get the max benefit. Manure, lime and don’t forget to put some seed in 👌👌
That new paddack looks good with the fence - thank goodness for the digger, you wouldn't want to do that by hand like our ancestors - every step forward to your goals and dreams is the right one and that includes celebrating a 5 ace paddock. celebrate every win - good lambing paddock with all that stone walls to shelter up next to
Karol 🎉Congratulations that is a lot os slogging for 5 acres but they are yours and Jas and you have the proof of your labours Dad bought a run down farm we picked stones and cleaned out fence bottoms for a couple years until he got them tiled for drainage and tilled for crops😂😂
There's no way around it, if you want to run more animals that pasture is a big much needed addition. I can tell just by looking at it that it's ph is low and in need of lime.

That’s it Colin! Hopefully reap the benefits later!
@ 👍 the rent on the land costs the same wether you grow a lot of grass or a little bit. More grass more sheep more profit 💰💰
Well done guys good team work
Cheers Ian! Many hands 😁
Always nice to she the shepherdess smile 😃 great looking fence that will last a long time.
Sure is Dennis!
I like it! well done. Surely the sheep will fertilise the field in time and fencing looks tidy.
Hopefully we can give it a helping hand 😁
Great video , nice job getting the field stock proof. Some lime and dung to get quality grass 👍🏼. Enjoyed watching.
That’s it John! Cheers
Great video Karl that new field will do your job the very best 👏👌
Thanks Gary!

100%, such progress compared to earlier when we were picking ourselves. 😂
Little by little the bird built his nest .from a fellow organic farmer
That’s it Ed 😁
Well done getting that fence in. Stone walls look great but guessing they aren't very sheep proof.
No they’re not so the fence was the job, thanks for watching 😁
Good to see the "Four Wheel Farmer".
Great to see local land kept local and farmed the we and our fore father's did, best of lu k and good health for 25, from the west cavan farmer
Thanks for the support Paddy! Hope all is well over there.

Thanks Brigid, that’s cool!
Looks like a great place to lamb.
Aye dry and a bit of shelter!
Good luck with it , looks like dry ground
Thanks Mark!
What kind of nuts are you feeding them?
OMG, is that sunshine?
Congrats on expanding.
No nuts for me Linda! The boys are feeding Smyths though
👏Video love it nice stone walls
Not sure about the dry stone walling technique. Lime is the most important fertiliser.
Hahaha you don’t improve Wendy? 🤣 Yes it looks sorely in need of it.
You don't need a derogation to spread lime when in the Organic Scheme.
Good stuff
Thanks for watching Padraig
Good video
Good man best luck
Thank you Gerry
Good job

Aye that’s it! Tell tale signs and I don’t even know much about land…
🐨👍
Auch sure... just throw the stones to the other side of the wall😂
The other farmer will love that 😂
Much prefer you channel to Tom Ps
Ah horses for courses! Some like sheep some don’t!
