I'm so glad I found your alls channel. I noticed Larry was getting really anxious when his buddy Max was getting checked out right outside the stall. He may have "lost"his buddy in the pasture, so he freaked out maybe. God bless y'all. I just love Pauly
Those poor horses trying to scrape at the ice in the water trough for a drink..that was bloody EMPTY FGS..ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE.. and their feet were hideously poor..that poor horse with the runs..all down her legs...hope she is OK. Larry really did a number on the fencing..Bless Nate coming out with all the commotion to check on all his ladies😂..🇬🇧💞✝️🙏👏👍🐐🇺🇸
Holy crap Larry-what-fence-I'm-not-stoppin'?!! Also, holy crap, Larry's SO FANCY! I'm glad he's going home with Kylee. He reminds me of my first horse love when I was a teenager - a chestnut Saddlebred mare named Bourbon. She was a firebrand. I loved her so. Those feet on the black and white pinto surrender. Deep sigh. I can't imagine how bad the xrays will look.
The two saddlebred will make good show horses for someone who has three day eventing as they look like they can jump and they need someone who can ride a lot
Glad Larry is o.k. after his fence crash in the last episode. He is a beautiful horse. Carrys him self well under saddle. Seriously, those people that surrendered all the "Arab ponys" couldn't even give them fresh water??? That paints poor feet, right front looks to have a bad twist. Well, they are in much better hands now. Thank you so much for taking care of them. ❤
Hurt to see the horses eating ice. Hard to take. So glad they are now with you. Hopefully they can be rehabbed. Fun to watch the riders enjoying some of the other horses. I enjoy all aspects of the rehab, too. Terrific job all of you!
I am so sad to see how neglected these 5 horses were. I am very worried about the rotation on that paint and whether or not he can be saved. What a terrible situation.
Please keep us updated about the paint horse at the end. I have a feeling it will need to be PTS, but I do hope that there is still a chance for you to save her. Also, I know he is a trouble maker but I adore Larry. He's got a funny personality. I hope you find him a nice home. :)
OMg the INTRO WAS WILD !! I cried thinking someone could have been dragged with the horse and my heart stoped when I saw the poor horse flipping through the fence ! You all must have been so scared !
Great work to you all. Your doing an amazing job helping these horse's and goats out. Keep up the great job all. Thank you for saving these beautiful animals out that need a new home and help
Larry is simply stunning! When are we going to see more than one video a week from our favorite horse rescue organization? Let youtube help you out with some funds on those videos.
Luck would have it that Dr Kristen was there to look him over. He was probably sore in a few places, I saw him go arse over applecart but couldn't quite make how it happened so fast and a far away shot. I figured this week we would find out he really hurt himself when he went down. What happened, he Larry so tall that whatever fencing is was in at first might not have been adequate for his size? Those tall ones often think they can jump over stud panels never mind anything less sturdy.
Wish I had money to donate. Mats in the breezeway would make it safer for everyone. You all are very knowledgeable and consistent with these horses. . Bravo.
Oh my gosh! Larry sure did a big job on those fences! It broke my heart to see that last surrender the hoofs on that paint were just so bad! I am so glad that they got surrendered. It was really funny watching the goats go through and all the horses looking at them like, what is that??😂. I sure hate that I missed the live premiere! Y’all are so wonderful, and Pauly just knock it out of the ballpark!😊❤
sometimes taking extra precautions and extra safety measures can be extra time consuming and extra annoying but so extremely important as you already know , but just always a good reminder when dealing with horses - never cut corners, always take the long way around for the better outcome for everyone! cheers
You girls are amazing, thank you for the heart you have for these animals! The condition of these horses is heartbreaking. Thankful you have Pauley to help, he is so sweet. Larry is a beautiful horse .Sending prayers from Florida.
The farrier is a fencer too?! I LOVE THIS MAN! I think some beers are well worth the fencing lol, the poor horse went wild! My heart was in my throat !
Oh my Hi O Silver! glad that horse didn't get bad hurt with all the fence running and crashing down and all and that none of the ladies out there got run over either. A gift from the God of horses that he didn't run straight through the barn and keep going out into the street! I love watching Pauly think as he comes up with a strategy for each horse, and I get so tense sometimes when he is working with a misbehaving one and especially when there are big ones in the stocks, I sometimes think that a huge and horrible incident is about to happen where an exploding horse that is scared and big enough to mow down stocks and Pauly is gonna get seriously hurt! He is one brave farrier that is for sure. Hey shout out to Pauly, how about Hot Shod the horses that have the problem of having been standing around in wet stuff I hear tell hot shod can make taking on too much moisture and further softening the hoof less of a problem....what say you all there at Pony tales? ask Pauly to address that especially like in this episode where he is saying a particular horse has too soft hoofs, but where the rescue is you all have wet pastures and such a lot of the time, Just trying to learn, not telling anyone that I think you ought to do this or that, certainly not telling Pauly , he seems to be pretty darn good at his trade. Just curious is all. Ending on a sad note, those five you went to Butternut to get, they need our prayers and by the looks of the black and white paint, maybe the last act of kindness. Hope next episode we will find out what the outlook if for these pool souls, I bet they will be happy to get a long nice drink of clean water when they get to your barn. Blessing to all you Pony Tales ladies and gents, will tune in next episode.
Magic has a pretty face! Fig and Whisper have a lot of room to run! That old barn has good bones, too bad it costs so much to restore them. You can't just let them fall tho. :(
I so enjoy watching your channel.. It's sad to see the neglected animals, but it's good to see so many trying their best to help them. God bless your work!!! And thank you!❤❤❤
Larry is perfect. Poor guy was probably never out in a wire fence, maybe got zapped? Glad he came running to the barn and the humans for safety and comfort not down the road. I just love Saddlebred horses so much. They are beautiful, smart, gentle and love their people so much. Obviously, if they have been manhandled, they reflect that, they are very sensitive. Sadly, they are one of the favorite breeds for the Amish for their driving horses, so there are a lot at the kill pens.
Depends on where you are. Amish are currently producing and using more Saddlebreds than other groups. There are Strictly Saddlebred sales where 95% of the clients and sellers are Amish. @@user-yp6zk3ew1q
A lovely episode so much here that’s pure essence of Pony Tales…. genuine messy muddles and quiet team work with respect and humour and compassion the glue that holds it all together.
Thank goodness you got those ones at the end! Well.. and all of them of course. 🙂 And Larry is gorgeous - a crazy mix of knowing some stuff but probably not enough experience of the wider world. I bet he will be fab with a bit more experience of life.
Great episode gyes!! Lots of owner surrounders, times are getting harder for people. Glad to see November hay!! Can't wait till next week. Keep up the amazing work!!
Wow. What an interesting time you guys are having. I'm glad everyone is alright after horse freakout day. Great job with every situation 👏. God kept you all safe. Stay warm. I saw the snow on Halloween.
My lord I miss a video and what a video. Poor Larry what a panic he was in!! And Pauly with the mules 😮! Boy he’s brave! What did Pauly mean when he said Larry’s mom doubled barreled his wife. Larry is a beautiful horse.
Also, I'm not sure if you all got papers for Lily and Larry, but i bet they have Champagne Fizz on their pedigrees. That line of horses are spicy to say the least
Hi guys! A new subscriber here. I’m enjoying your exciting episodes. What a wonderful place for neglected and abused horses to get a second chance at life❤. My dream life for sure!😊. That’s an impressive stock(torture device lol😂) you have! I also love Larry. My first experience with horses was on my Grandfather’s Saddlebred stallion, Rollo, who was a direct descendant of Rex Peavine. All us grandkids rode him bareback around the pasture with no problems. We were evan shown how to hold the reins correctly as he was 5 gaited and had a wonderfully smooth singlefoot.(slow rack). Awesome work you do!👏👏
Hi PonyTales just wanted to tell you about Formahoof for all the horses who have clubfoot, and any kind of hoof deformation and no I don’t sell it I just have used it on a horse with severe club, and it works!! BTY you guys are so down to earth love that you give horses a chance even if they are in some pain!!
What broad shoulders and larger hearts you Ladies and a handful of Men have ❣❣❣ Sending some healing prayers for ya'll to have to deal with that much neglect and abuse and smile and say thank you have a nice life 💞✝️💞 Those animals would have had a better life foraging at least they could have lickd the dew off of the woods. Could be good idea to tie flags on the wires at intervals. In Denmark we do it. Not long ones that might spook a horse, but it gives the horse a better chance to see that there is a wire. Can be any Color.
@@Lynne2106 Didn't Larry come in with an almost twin of him, both looked totally Saddlebreds to me. I didn't catch how old either of them are, but they are beautiful and must have really been gorgeous a few years back. I hope they are not old old as someone who likes and knows Saddlebreds could really be lucky to adopt one or both. Plus Pauly remarked that Larry has healthy good feet.. Why were they surrendered? Sometime its hard to remember all the details, and I know you girls and guys are so busy, but as I have suggested to Horse Plus as well, wish that their media guy would have a facebook or whatever page that show the pictures, the names, the Breed? the age? and what all they need to get up to an adoptable level. I think it would be pretty possible to get some of your fans to sponsor a horse, or two or three friends who watch to pool together to sponsor a horse of their interest. Also, when you guys need stuff do you post a needs list /wish list? I often send little things that I can afford that are still needed as much as big things, and hey little donations of stuff by lots of fans adds up.
Heya guys! Love how many horses you guys are able to help. It’s amazing to see their transformations! I see that you use a stock to have some the horses shoed. I was wondering if you’ve also used a an oral sedative to help with the stress in a stock? Just was curious!
Also, an old cowboy taught me a trick to load a horse.. never hit bit take something and tap on the top of tail, its annoying not painful they will move to get away from it. ( kinda like if somene pokes yout arm you step away from it. Or sweet molasses feef as a reward. Not thatim big on treats, but at the beginning of a session.. a smsll handful..one during, one when you release them.. lol the hard to cstch would run to be caught..to get a tiny bit of jf
I am a hardcore electric fence user and lover but if the horse has lived in visible board fencing most of the time you have to flag it AND lead them around the perimeter.
with all your ice and snow in wisconsin u need to get all of you the slip on cleats for your snow and work shoes , worries me one of you get hurt falling on ice
The condition of these horses this whole bunch of them coming from the same place is horrible. Look at those feet. I’ve seen worse but they’re pretty bad. Why do people wait this long before they surrender them I don’t get it why would you even want to have an animal like this and treat them like this I know that baby they love them and all of that it’s hard to give them up but God give them a break they just look a mess my prayers go out to all of you are taken on this project along with these sweet babies the goat just look like they’re starving and the horses are just makes me so sad. That little black horse is trying to get every piece of whatever it can get out of that trough. That black horse is a stud right what I thought acting a little bit crazier than the ladies. That’s silly Larry he’s so nosy.
PLEASE tell me those people who surrendered the horses at the end did not Keep some of their horses! No water! No shelter! All that trash in their fields… oh my gosh!

Question ❓ Why do people have to pay you, to be able to surrender horses to you??? It doesn't make sense to me... If they can't afford to keep the Horse, why would they then pay you, and not put the horse up for sale instead ... You pay for Horses..? should you not at least, take in horses for free..
Most people who cannot keep their horse, care about what happens to it after it leaves their place. They are certainly welcome to find them a home and we do encourage them to do so. If they are unable to or would rather we take them, the surrender fee helps with our initial intake costs of vet work, farrier care, etc. 99.9% of people do not even bat an eye at it and many often add a donation to it. Of course we hope one day to be in the financial position to be able to take them in for free (and we do so on a limited basis as funds allow), but we are not there yet and if we do not have the funds to provide the care the horses need, then we have no business taking them in.
I second that as we want to her all the stuff, especially when sweet Dr Kristin is talking educational things, Pauly as well, we all can learn a bunch from various people that come there but not if we can't hear what they are saying!
Your X-ray machine has brought Pony Tales’ horse care to a whole new level! Paulie is one tough, intelligent farrier.
I wouldn’t want to arm wrestle him. My grandpa was like him. If someone can wrestle a horse, you can bet on them to win! 😂
At rescue, too many horses that haven't had regular professional foot care. They really give that stock a workout.

@@claudiadickerman4218 in the description part of the video they have links to there chewy , Amazon wishlist, an donation link.
Heya guys! Love how many horses you guys are able to help. It’s amazing to see their transformations!
I see that you use a stock to have some the horses shoed. I was wondering if you’ve also used a an oral sedative to help with the stress in a stock? Just was curious!
We do sedate when needed :)
Oh, we always pull out the cleats when it's icy. ;-)
They did not. All animals were taken off of the property.
Dear god why do people keep hold of them for so long till ther is basically a miracle needed to help them it’s heartbreaking…
Have to give some feedback, in the last few vids the sound gets very static and rattles at sertan times, but otherwise keep up the good work
Never put out a horse unless they know what the hot wires are
He knew what they were...

Where’s the REPLAY IN SLOW MO?
Question ❓
Why do people have to pay you, to be able to surrender horses to you???
