@@itskoasmith I'm consciously eating and sleeping better. I look at everything with a much more open mind. I've really put some active physical input into my surfskate/skateboarding hobby and ride one of my five boards daily. I'm really looking forward to surfing again and I'm saving money for the midlength perfect for me, and I can't wait to truly go surfing again for the first time in 25 years. Oh and I really try to do a short calisthenic workout every other day. At 62 going on 23 I'm having more fun than I've ever had in my life.
Can you elaborate what the hip injury was? I just went through 2 years out of the water, 4 surgeries, infections...nightmare. I just wanted to see if I was the exception, or the norm. It feels good to be back, doesn't it?

The most important thing is training and stretching you must do lot of stretching and warm up before any hard performance sports. I surf motocross fence and roadrace all require lots of warmup. Plan on long recovery much more than knee
