all the best comedy duos across the world seem to have one who is naturally alot funnier than the other but the other guy brings out the best in the naturally funnier one. no disrespect to Joe, he makes me laugh to but Bill is a beaut!😂!
Dude from 42:30 to 45:50 is like an uninformed creepypasta. I was listening to this at work laughing along with them then when they started talking about the mash theme song,it really messed with me and has been sticking with me for a couple of days. Especially bills reaction to it.he was all for ragging on joe about how the theme was depressing ,but when he actually heard the song with the lyrics,he switched into a serious mode and wanted it turned off. I hated hearing it too. So eerie. Why would a sitcom from the 70s have a theme called suicide is painless??
I know what you mean. Hearing Bill in his early 40s talking about what a loser he feels like for not being married or successful. I bet this Bill would never have thought in a million years he'd be hosting SNL
At the beginning of each episode, Joe is tolerable. By the end, stabbing my eardrum with a dull pencil sounds like a good idea. He is so whiny and behaves as though everyone is out to get him. Was he always this way on O&A?
Honestly every holiday is just some stupid marketing thing. "go out and spend money cuz we said so." And as for the doctors, these days they'll just check the damn internet half the time. Why do we need to go to them? I can check the damn internet.
He's funny when playing off somebody or the other way around. I've always liked when him and Bill interact. He was even good in that short film he did with Bill and Bobby Kelly. By himself he isn't the strongest though...

Hate to admit this, but I feel the same way about Adam Carolla. Been a fan for years (Loveline, Man Show, his podcast, etc..). But man, I saw him do standup at Caroline's when he released his first book about 5 years ago and I was practically bored to tears. Most of his routine was stuff he already said multiple times on the podcast, and the jokes work better when, like you said, he's playing off others in conversation.
I listen to all these every summer. So comforting. Such a good show.

It's crazy, such a gem
Not a podcast though
This one has good podcast energy cause it’s prerecorded
Crazy to think that Bill thought this show was in its demise. Little did he know it would go on to have 15 whole episodes.
13:45 Joe pronouncing Pharrell as feral had me rolling
Joe sayjng he never plays the victim gave me a good chuckle.
Joe TrashCan DeRosa!

I think Joe is pretty funny on his own too. But you're right, they're great radio partners.

Joe talking about feminists protesting at his high school was taken directly from PCU (highly underrated comedy)
9:42 for the patented, "Jesus Christ, Joe."
Really didn't think these two would have the kind of chemistry that I'm feeling. Well done, 2023 and I'm just hearing this

Yea that is a creepy intro.
because it ties in quite well with the shows overall opinion on the Korean war.... also the track was the bop without vocals.

Yea hes been talking about it in his act for over 10 years
Where do you think he gets his material from

Not to mention other things. There is a shift in his comedy around 2013 that has to come directly from her. I think that's when they got married
