Cinnamon is so cute trying to be his buddy but Percy has anxiety. It's so sweet how cinnamon keeps wanting to lay with him, but Percy just wasn't letting his guard down.
my teen boy, Mocha, usually rumble struts into a laying down position and stays there a moment and gets back up to rumble again and its so hilarious??? hes a stinky buttboy but hes so funny
Wish me lucky Scotty! I adopted a new younger boar a week ago to pair with my older boy who lost his bonded pal 2 weeks ago (old age). The new boar appears to be a buddha pig (he'd been in a large herd of 10 pigs before). Just very relaxed. I hope it works out 🤯
Scotty’s animal’s I have a suggestion for a video topic. I like it when you ask your commenter’s to answer question’s for you. Such as the one where you asked everyone to suggest a good guinea pig vet. You can use questions that commenter’s who reach out to you with a problem, as a topic. It’s fun, your other commenter’s can be the detective or reference librarian, and you can suggest they find the answer in some of your previous video’s and outside sources.
That is so true Scott. Poor Roadie mourned when we lost his brother Trig. Roadie is happier now he has Zoomie to share a pen with. I also found that Roadie enjoys a little more attention since Trigs' passing. Roadie was always more of a 'stand offish' piggy, 1-2 pats and he was done!! But Trig LOVED attention.
Watching this while deciding if I want to keep my trio and separate boy or attempt two pairs 😬 I think that I’ve found a sweet spot with my trio and singleton.
The boys are adorable Male bonding can be tough my boys are sideby side in a c and c cage can never be together it would be a blood bath have plexiglas to keep them from biting through the bars
Question from someone who thinks pigs are soooooooo cute. If 2 boys grow up together do they do better? Or do they have issues when they become adolescents?
Karen McPeak it’s the luck of the draw, I think. It can go either way. Even longtime older buddies can suddenly not get along one day, & we cannot tell why...
@@ScottysAnimals they haven't bit each other yet but they did get mad at each other For example: Zeus's was eating out of gizmos boul and gizmo started puring but Zeus stopped
hay Scotty got an easy question for ya. If you did a playdate before adoption do you still want to do a playdate when you get home or just put them in their communal cage and watch?
@@ScottysAnimals awesome, thank you, going for a playdate on Wed to a foster mom with several girls cant wait to see who my piggies choose to be their new cage mate, may even be a new pair...
Are Abyssinian guineas smaller? That's what I have! Always have hay, dry food and fresh veggies everyday and my guy seems smaller than cinnamon. He's always been on the smaller side compared to his brother (who is in piggy heaven now).
I have found that the runt of the litter can be smaller than his or her siblings. I got 2 brothers from a petshop and the 1 boy I definately believe was the runt, because Roadie was up to 3 times the size of Trig. Another runt I had, Ginger was only a little bit smaller than her sister Honey Bunch.
I have Abyssinian Guinea Pigs and they are the same size as most of my piggies, who are the same age. If you are really concerned, a vet visit may help. I try to weigh mine weekly, but I am weighing mine every fortnight, when I treat them for mites. My gang live outside, I sadly don't have permission to have them inside unless they need medicating. I treat mine every 2 weeks because I have 1 cat on 1 side of my unit and 1 dog and 3 cats on the other side of my unit.
I was hoping, but alas not a match. I agree with you on the piggies not being overweight eventhough my vet mentions it. Although she is more concerned that not giving the wrong types of food. But when my pigs have gotten sick or gone antibiotics and eating has declined the ones been bigger have done better. Exercise also big factor. My semi-free range pig that ran around everywhere lived the longest-10 years.
Maybe Cinnamons' original owners didn't know that Cinnamon was a 'he'. But personally I think Cinnamon suits him. Cinnamons' new family may rename him.
What? I think you need to turn the volume up or maybe turn your speaker on or check the connection on your Bluetooth headphones or I don't know but I'm pretty sure there is sound
Maybe close the video and start it again? I have to do that sometimes when the sound doesn't start. I don't know why it happens. I just know if I turn the video off and then restart it, the sound works.
Scotty please help me, my friend has 2 guinea pigs that don’t live correctly. One is like 1 years old and lives in a bigger cage but it’s still too small. The other one is like 5 but lives in a very very small cage and I’m talking small. He thinks since he’s older he needs to live in a smaller cage but I can tell there depressed. First of all, before he got the younger one the older one lived alone for 4 years. And now I tell him that he should put them in the same cage but he doesn’t listen. He refuses to admit there depressed and I don’t know how to tell him that this is unhealthy and I’m seeing all of the depression signs you showed in his older piggy. Please help me
What would you like me to do Noah? I have a bunch of videos but if people want to keep their head in the sand I can't do very much about it. You can try talking to him positively and constructively but I have put out 300 videos advocating for proper care of guinea pigs and I will continue to do so
Can you tell me the proper way to talk to him about it because it’s so bad living conditions for the pigs but he’s my best friend and I don’t want to be mean.
I adopted Rufus from the rescue yesterday! I brought my guinea pig in a green carrier, both of them are doing great! They bonded so well so quickly!
I'm so glad to hear that

I gotta say the background music helped ME not to be so anxious! I usually get anxiety watching pairing, im odd , i know. Lol☺
Thank you Wendy I get comments about how much people hate that music
I don't think you're odd because I get anxious too.
I love that music also is a scotty stamp lol
Does Percy has a 💩 that doesn't want to come out?

I started watching this whilst eating my breakfast. 😂the camera angle at the beginning put me off. 😂😂. Beautiful piggies!❤❤
Cinnamon looks like he has tears in his eyes
Cinnamon is so handsome!
Yes he is. Too bad they did not bond well.
Percy is so cute
The bonding vids are my favorite, it’s so fascinating for some reason

Is it normal for the boars to have their jewels hanging all out like that? I never seen this in the other video's. Can someone please educate me.
All guinea pigs have different size genitals. They're animals and they come in all shapes and sizes.

Do you have any tips for bonding males my ppiggy's sometimes get along but fight every now and then
I have a bonding Rules video and a whole playlist. THIS IS advice. You just have to watch and listen. That's why it's UnEdited.
if there is no blood or biting, don't worry. If there is, maybe they're not bonded after all. You gotta decide if they need to be separated.

What you were singing is the opening of Beethoven’s 5th symphony lol but yes Amadeus is Mozart’s first name.
Hahaha, I'm the worst
They are comfortable enough to eat, isn't that good?
That looked like it went ok. Have you had Guinea pigs fight right away during the bonds?
I've bonded over a thousand guinea pigs or at least I have tried with over a thousand guinea pigs and yes sometimes they fight within seconds
About the da-da-da-daaaaaa, it's not Mozart. It is, in fact, the tortured genius of Beethoven. ;-)
Omg bold gunies are sooo cute. Ive never seen one before
