How can I change the getaway of dataset after the published report? I have a published report its current getaway is excel file and I want to change with my Sql source. I already make my sql connection online in getaway but I don’t know how to change getaway old to new one. All the fields and values are same.

@@LearnAtHomewithGulshan actually, i prefer not to install it unless i dont have other options. Why would i want to add another gateway component in my infrastructure if i already hv another component that can do the same job.
@@LearnAtHomewithGulshan For example... what if "Power BI Gateway" is a texteditor and Microsoft would recommend Microsoft Word. Can i use wordpad instead? or notepad? or any other generic text editor.
If you have already implemented your gateways and it is working with power bi. It's good. But remember one thing power bi gateway is best complemented for power bi.
data fetch by Sql query & excel files stored in share point when use ETL, TRANSFORMATION AND UPLOAD in bi service and install gateway it produces error every time
On power bi desktop when I upload data using SQL query & online SharePoint both & Do ETL process then refresh by making on premises gate way then it shows error:- "That error is related to SQL Query"
Bhai ek help chahiye. Mera power bi dashboard web url ke data se banaya hai. Power bi desktop mai. Jab mai publish karta hu to mai mobile mai dekh sakta hu. Maine gateway connect kara hai. Problem yeh hai ki jab mai laptop off karta hu to refresh hota nhi hai data error ata hai. Muje one time setup karna hai. Mai laptop off karke bas mobile oe hi live update data lena chahta hu. Refresh schedule time pe. To kya yeh possible hai?

If your source is on cloud then no need to use gateway and then you can refresh when your pc is off

How to setup gateways on server and don't want to set up on the local system, but want it on server which remains always on.
You can follow the same process to Install gateways in Server too. If you are facing another issue please write me.

why we need data gateway? Why you were getting error in connecting to powerbi service without gateway?
When we connect on-premises data (Local Syatem Data) we need to connect this via gateways thats why we use gateways
