I spent a week in Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa, going out every night because the clubs in Soweto .....fire..., then ended up unknowingly getting covid, which I thought was just a rough hangover from going out every night and getting crunk on a few hours of sleep, one morning I went to look for some food and stumbled into a bra I met at the club the night before, both of us still intoxicated, we went to the local bar to have A beer.
the guys I was chilling with at the bar offered to show me around, so we took a local taxi to the centre and ended up walking through places and going to meet people for over 10 hours, drinking every step of the way.
Unfortunately the memory card on my camera broke, so half the day wasn't filmed and a large part of the day especially the things I would have liked to film, a camera would have been inappropriate,
get the sense ;)
The next day, the covid hit hard and I was in bed for 10 days just sleeping and it took me 1,5 months to feel 100.
Despite South Africa getting bad press and being 3rd in the world for murder, the general public are warm friendly caring people, I recommend it and if you visit, do you research before.

This video is from last year when I went back to SA, I unknowingly had full on heavy covid at the time which I thought was just a bad hangover from a week of partying, anyway, part 2 of the video coming soon.
