I have no problem and love getting ideas from Pinterest! Great place as a starting point and then you can alter it from there with different camera angles, looks and style and man you pointers are spot on, can’t wait to try some of your tips and pointers 🔥 🔥
A new subscriber and just starting out in portrait photography. Love the candidness of your videos. Great attitude (willing to share knowledge rather than withhold it from others). Looking forward to more brilliant content.
I 100% look at Pinterest and other inspo sources to create my poses and shot lists. I'm not good at thinking up poses and whatnot on the fly, so it's nice to use those to help me come up with a game plan
Awesome video! I bumped out I didn't get a chance to run into you at shutterfest it was kind of crazy I hope next year to be able to take some of your classes!
Big fan from Malaysia. Question: I owns a A7r2 now. Should I get a STC ND 6 stops for it or the newer A7r3? Will it be backward compatible to the r2 Thinking of upgrading to the r3 in the near future.
Get it for the A7RIII. I don't believe the filter is backwards compatible. I have an A7RII as well and will try this for you later today to check. I did use my ND filter for the A7RIII on my A7RIV before but it got stuck and was hard to remove. Hopefully not the case on the A7RII.
Love this video and all your others! I have an indoor shoot coming up. How would you approach high speed sync in a studio setting as far as the lighting setup and camera settings? Thanks
Hey Francisco, will you do a comparison of the godox ad400 and westcott fj400 to compare their CRI and overall quality? Some people say the godox gives off a green tint and the profotos are way more expensive. thank you.
Love the video, thank you. Quick question on the modifier, the 34" that you used has a silver inside (i think), and you mentioned going forward you will be using the Godox equivalent. The AD-S65S in you video has a white inside; is white your preference? I wonder if you could share a thought on the white versus silver for this modifier (AD-S6WS/W)? I ask as I am about to purchase to use with the 300pro. Thank you very much for all your great content. P
I kind off decided to buy ad300pro, very much confused on softbox. AD S85w or AD S65w or should I go for something else. My budget is kind of limited .. I haven't done flash photography much. I had sb700 with me. Played with that. Now I am looking for long term, I can say kind of one time investment. Any suggestions on softbox?
Great shot. I think I would have skipped the nd filter in this situation however. It’s very difficult to focus shooting portraits with essentially dark shades over your lens. I would just go hss and get my light in as close as I could. The ad300 should be powerful enough to pull that off I suspect.

I’m definitely watching this whole video tonight after work. Gotta take lots of note 📝 😁👌🏼

🔥🔥🔥 So good!! Thank you for sharing.
Great video. You don't find the 6 stop to be a dark? I have the same filter and when shooting in bright sun the 4 stop is just right.
It is pretty dark. If they made a 5 stop it'd probably be just what I need.
@@fjhphoto I have the 4 stop that’s perfect
I often use poses featured in videos like these or at least as a starting point before making adjustments to suit the client & scene.

Is that a blue yeti ??

I have seen your photos on Instagram before but I never knew it was you. 😁
5:25 yessss Lol one of the hardest things for me is finding poses for models that don't have much experience
May i know what manfrotto clip on light stand model do you use?

Have u ever talked about ur mic set up for ur voice overs?
Very nice! A large amount of the photoshop was unnecessary in my opinion but end result was terrific!
I do tend to overdo it. The color work on the skin was barely noticeable.😅
I use pintrest and IG as a starting point. There is nothing wrong with a little inspiration.
