1) After concluding the Prime Day sale a few days ago, e-commerce giant Amazon is now gearing up to start its Great Freedom Festival sale 2024 to mark the occasion of India’s Independence Day. The amazon great festival freedome sale will start on August 6 2024 at noon, and Prime members can access the sale from August 6 at midnight. if you use an SBI credit card, you can enjoy an extra 10% instant discount.
2) Relaince Jio and Qualcomm and xiaomi partnership with handset OEMs will ensuring connectivity for everyone. Reliance jio will launch new cheapest 5g phone under $100 us dollar (RS 8,200) all over the world. The latest chip, Snapdragon 4s Gen 2, could encourage 2G users to switch to a smartphone-enabled 5G environment in India. The newest chipset could help Qualcomm better compete in the declining entry-level segment, where it has been playing catch-up with rival MediaTek. Partnering with Reliance Jio and Xiaomi, the first 5G smartphone using this chipset will be available by year-end. The Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chip could drive 2G users to switch to 5G, with Qualcomm working with OEMs to develop and launch the phone.
3) Apple in future may allow users to unlock iPhone, Macs and other devices through heart beat pattern. What is the most secure password? PIN? Pattern? Or perhaps Face ID? But what if your phone used your unique heart rhythm to secure your device? Well, this is not science fiction but new technology that Apple is exploring through its newly granted patent. Just as Apple uses its existing ECG (electrocardiogram) feature in the Apple Watch to monitor heart rhythm, the new heart lock would allow users to unlock their Apple devices while wearing the Apple Watch and potentially an iPhone feature that authenticates heart rate. Perhaps , you can get this feature upcoming iphone 16 or later on.
4) Delhi police arrested a man dressed as 'Spider Man' for violating traffic rules. The incident occurred on Dwarka Road, where the individual was seen sitting on the bonnet of a car. The arrest followed a complaint received via social media regarding the car. The man in the Spider Man costume has been identified as 20-year-old Aditya from Najafgarh. The vehicle's driver, 19-year-old Gaurav Singh from Mahavir Enclave, has also been charged. Both Aditya and Singh face charges for dangerous driving, operating a vehicle without a pollution certificate, and not wearing a seatbelt. The penalties for these violations could amount to a maximum fine of Rs. 26,000 and/or imprisonment.
