I just had a flight in this aircraft, Coventry to The Isle of Man. I've got to say that I really enjoyed this Aircraft, great piece of freeware. It was a treat to hand fly, but still had enough automation for an easy time during the cruise. Old school navigation, a must, no Magenta lines to follow in this bird. Thanks again for Posting, I would have been non the wiser otherwise.
Thanks a lot. yeah l saw that you had been enjoying it on Facebook. I plan to fly her again, was distracted fighting with MSFS24 and beta testing a product for 24. I'd love a Swissair/Balair livery for this!
I am so pleased to see this, thank you to you and developer. I really hope someone does the Bristol 170 for MSFS, I flew the FSX 170 all of the time recreating Hawkair Alaska / BC missions with old school nav etc..
I remember your JF F27 videos and posts in the days. Even remember getting advice from you on making custom reflection profiles for this aircraft. Good old days, and now so good to see this aircraft in MSFS!!
I've had this aircraft for just a few days now, flying old Mohawk Airline routes in upstate NY (and with a livery in the works!). It is a handful and I've never found myself following the in-game checklist quite so slavishly before. It's meant to be a compliment if you can believe it! A lot of work to do in all stages of flight. I'm not confident the FM is very accurate (on account of the approach behaviour especially) but as freeware I can't possibly fault it. Keep in mind some payware aircraft like the B99 and the Asobo Fokker XVII don't reach this to the knees. Really unsure about the elevator trim though. The manual doesn't really say anything about it unlike the fuel trim, just to keep things in 'the green band'. Of which there ain't no green band.
I like the liveries coming, Air West just came out. If you mean the nose down approach attitude? From pics l've seen it looks pretty spot on to me, but l find the flare tricky in this
I've been really enjoying this one, it's perfect for hops between Ireland and the UK. I noticed you have control over the RPM with the throttle levers, mine stay stuck at 14000RPM as soon as I get in the air... Could I ask what control you have assigned to the HP levers? I'm running them through Spad.next so I'm wondering if I missed something
It was a video to show and create awareness that this add on exists. The video is already 35 minutes long as it it, longer than my goal of 20-25 mins max
Depends which livery you use. The white version is in english in the cockpit. But the brilliant developer gives you a manual for both French and English cockpits (in English). This aircraft is awesome!😃

@@Topofdescent55 I was using the fuel trim way too much, which made my approaches very difficult to manage. Agree about the flare!
Good video, will download the plane tonight.
I'm on 2020 again, 2024 not running well.
@@stevenlow3036 thanks! Same here, l'm irritated by the 2024 menus and keybindings. I set the save camera commands but they don't save
Nice information video buddy! Can i ask you for your current msfs/nvidia control panel and shaders settings please?

Enjoyed your video, sounds like a good airplane to have. Will it follow a Little Navmap flight plan?
@@crcpathfinder thanks! No it just has VOR nav
For some reason i'm having trouble picking up dme. No problems with the vor and following inbound/outbound course, but no dme ...
@@popcornelius5619 There is a separate DME receiver on the radio panel, you need to tune that to get the DME
@Topofdescent55 Thanks! Yeah, just after commenting, i had another look and found it. Apparently, I'm just blind😅

@@EduardoMCfly did you follow the in game checklists?
@@Topofdescent55 Not yet, I was trying to spawn in the runway/air to test it first.
@@EduardoMCfly ah ok l see, yeah maybe that won't work. The checklists are great to learn where everything is
