I’m just so excited about how you are opening up a whole exciting way of being as a victorious follower of Christ tapping into the shape He made me into to I can share his message of love and transformation, which He won for us on the cross. I’ve been really depressed and feeling defeated in finding openings to represent the amazing gift of possibilities we have as we grow closer to Jesus to find the path with him. My heart is broken to think of friends and loved ones who might not be in heaven when I die.
The unmasking of the systems of idolatry and injustice in the world is a byproduct of the cross, not the point. I wasn't quite sure if Couch was suggesting that the unmasking was *the* point of the cross? I really do enjoy this discussion about what it means to be a person!
