Blade Runner bottle ... proof Deckard's not a Replicant?

- Apologies for such a long video but this was a project I have "thirsted" for for years: Deckard's whiskey bottle from the original Blade Runner film. This was a DIY bottle sold on the Replica Props Forum (RPF) and I am very pleased with the results.

In making this bottle, it occurred to me the fact that Deckard drinks might actually be the proof I have been looking for that he cannot possibly be a Replicant.

They should bring back this bottle again. So much cooler than the 2049 bottle.
Very true, the 2049 is cool and all but I much prefer this classic bottle
Thanks for sharing the top about the cap, I'm waiting on one to come in few days, however it says it's super hard to remove the cap, I'd love to fill the bottle with Black Label.
No problem! I also use a rubber cover to properly "cork" mine when not filming. Black Label just seems to taste extra delicious poured out of this thing.
I just wish these weren't collectible items

I don’t think that proves anything, because if we’re going strictly film, Rachel is undoubtedly a replicant, and it’s implied she also drinks. Not as heavily obviously and it’s not shown but deckard invites her to have a drink at taffy’s bar and she only declines because it’s “not her kind of place”... now if we’re bringing the book into it, Rachel does actually get pretty drunk with Deckard in a hotel room on real (not synthetic) expensive liquor. I’m really not sure why so many people are anti deckard being a replicant, because for me, it makes the story all that more interesting and meaningful. For me personally it’s the best way the film works. Definitely not an “Andy” in the book though, no question there.
Interesting point Shawna, I admit I've never read the book but from what people have told me on my Deckard's Not A Replicant videos (both of them) he's definitely human in the book. Still, I always enjoy good discussion on the topic and thank you for watching.

Hi Alan, thanks for watching! I'd have to double check my notes but I recall the imperfect bottles were $250 US (might have been $299) and the makers were asking a hundred bucks more for "the good bottles" but to be honest this one looks great!
Wow, theyre pricey, i saw your video and made me go after one of them, but theyre gone.
I had to check ebay and fortunatley i found a person who had one, and the price is pretty similar, i think i will buy it.

The taste is very nice, enhanced by how awesome this bottle is for sure. Having this bottle means a lot to me cuz I have admired this bottle since I first saw the film
