Have you noticed other North Korean professional shoppers in the background? I bet it's their job to walk around the store to make it look like the store is visited by ordinary NK shoppers, even with kids. The one thing I’m curious about, it looks like he’s inquiring about what seems is the pricing of the items to the clerk, I don’t see the price labeled on the hooks, and I presume the price isn’t labeled/sticker on the item(s) itself? Does the price change that frequently where they don’t label the items? The electronics retail store I work at, our pricing has the potential of changing weekly, yet we change the labels to reflect it weekly.

This would be the US equivalent of Bergdorf-Goodman, and of course its empty, bc even most people in Pyongyang cant afford it. And you can see it's very low quality cheap Chinese stuff that wouldn't even probably pass toy standards here. Of course it's cold, bc they don't have the money to warm it that much, since fuel and electric are so rare. At least they're allowed to wear uniform jackets to keep them warmer. Those workers are very lucky to have jobs there!
