Georgien Roadtrip - Von Stalin's Gori bis Grillen mit Einheimischen // Woche 119 - Gori (Georgien)
Wir reisen weiter mit dem Camper durch Georgien, und entdecken sowohl die Geschichte Georgiens als auch die Gastfreundschaft Georgiens. Unser Georgien Roadtrip mit Womo wird also vielseitiger wie je zuvor!
Unser erster Stopp ist Ananuri, ein altes Kloster von einem wunderschönen See umgeben. Wir haben auch noch einmal unser Paddle Board rausgeholt, und sind auf den See hinaus gefahren.
Von dort fahren wir weiter nach Gori, Georgien. Gori ist die Geburtsstadt von Joseph Stalin. In Gori steht das Museum von Stalin, als auch der Zug von Stalin, den er bis 1924 verwendet hat. Auch das Gori Schloss ist absolut sehenswert. Der Gori Burg liegt mitten in der Stadt Gori, und bietet wundervolle Aussichten über die Stadt Gori. Deshalb lohnt sich der Aufstieg zum Gori Schloss.
Von dort geht unser Roadtrip durch Georgien mit dem Camper weiter, und wir steuern auf Martvili zu. Der Martvili Canyon ist ganz bekannt, und absolut lohnenswert!
Unterwegs aber stoppen wir bei einem Obst Verkaufspunkt neben der Strasse, und werden gleich von den Einheimischen zum Abendessen eingeladen. Georgien Gastfreundschaft am Besten!

We continue our road trip through Georgia by camper, and discover both the history of Georgia and the hospitality of Georgia. Our Georgia road trip by camper van will be more varied than ever!
Our first stop is Ananuri, an old monastery surrounded by a beautiful lake. We also took out our paddle board again and drove out onto the lake.
From there we continue to Gori, Georgia. Gori is the native city of Joseph Stalin. The Stalin Museum is in Gori, as is Stalin's train that he used until 1924. The Gori Castle is also absolutely worth seeing. The Gori fortress is located in the middle of the city of Gori, and offers wonderful views over the city of Gori. Therefore, the ascent to Gori Castle is worthwhile.
From there our road trip through Georgia continues with the camper, and we head towards Martvili. The Martvili Canyon is well known and absolutely worth it!
On the way, however, we stop at a fruit sales point next to the street and are invited to dinner by the locals. Georgia hospitality at its best!

That museum is museum of museum, it was built during soviet time, and they didn't change it too much to show how it was then before. Their politic is that you can find thousands of museums showing how cruel Stalin was, but here you have original museum from his era
