I don’t think interaction is glitchy per se. I think what’s happening is that the diagonal boost track is sending the character forwards, but doesn’t stick them so it drops them off causing them to boost off of the track and back on repeatedly. The reason it doesn’t happen during the womder transformation is because Hopcats are designed to stick to walls, so the game treats it as a regular track
I may be misremembering, but I think that is the only ramped dash thingy, correct? If so, could you just rotate a normal dash thing to get the same effect?
Rotated / sloped zip tracks actually appear in this same level, and those do function properly. The only truly unique thing about this ramp object is that it curves.
@@ThePlumGeneral44 Heh. I guess I do. I was just trying to make sure that my reply wouldn't come off as rude since I know that tone can be difficult to read in text sometimes.
For a game designer, you would either really hate this guy or be leaving little easter eggs for when people finally break the game. However, im surprised how quickly people got into the wonder code
I don't think it's fair to say "mostly polished" when the highlighted glitch is something that's not supposed to be visible and you have to go out of your way with a movement exploit to get to it I get there are other glitches but like come on
See, here's the thing with saying stuff online. If I'd called the game "very polished" I'd instead get comments saying that was incorrect which pointed out all the glitches. I do think the multiplayer world map glitch that's used for speedrunning is noteworthy, to the point where Nintendo had to update the game to remove it, so I think "mostly polished" is accurate.
I knew the answer would be “slopes” the second I saw the title
It’s always slopes. Slopes will forever be the glitchiest things in gaming
Good use of "bespoke" btw, very nice. Love a good bespoke.
glad to come across a fellow bespoke appreciator

@ Sorry for the dumb question, and thank you for answering!
I hate to sound like a teacher but there are no dumb questions haha
The worst part is that one level has a secret 1-UP which requires the inf bubble jump exploit to reach
Oh? If you don't mind answering could you inform me on which level that secret is in?

@@3kingwilliams505 you could just ask them which level it is. no need for the extra formal presentation lol
@@jclkaytwo Yeah, I guess so. Fair enough.
To be fair, it's really difficult to get back up there, so I don't think anyone would've thought of doing that in the first place.

and then the randomizer puts a solid enemy at the end and you cant beat the level.
devs couldnt be bothered to rotate the angle and speed smh (/j)
(also why is bubble so op lmao)
Shame, zip movers with cool curves could add a good bit to, like, a go fast level
I got up there and noticed the same
Why would someone even want not to use the ramp? 😒
Poland mentioned!??
I was excited for this game because i found NSMB terminally boring. Turns out I just don't like platformers anymore
and that is relevant to the video... how?
@jclkaytwo your mother
