Hi.. Great vid.... I have a combat cohai and can't seem to find a video with my safety lever removal.... Mine has a recess in the frame under the lever with a spring loaded toggle on the lever itself... This design seems to be unusual when looking at the EAA Witnesses, CZ75, or any other tanfoglio videos ... Thanks
This video is quite helpful if you have Tanfoglio TZ-75 Series 88. The slide is different as there's no firing pin roll pin that goes through the slide. On the pistol you disassembled the slide is disassembled by pushing in the firing pin and sliding the stop off at the pin strike location. That makes a world of difference when you've never disassembled one before. Another thing I noticed is that some of the CZ's on RUclips, the recoil spring rod is plastic on mine it's steel, and seems to be much longer than the ones on the CZ'S. I've had this pistol for 35 years and never fired more than 2 or 3 hundred rounds through it. My son loves it, says it's the most accurate pistol he's ever shot. I wish at the time this was purchased I could have bought the 41 action express kit that was optional at the time of sale. It wouldn't do me any good as where can I buy 41 action express ammo ? Hi,... Thanks for video. I just purchased a TA90 combat shooting cohai in 9mm... Very well built gun but the safety lever is extremely hard to toggle on/off. Does innot appear to be dirty or damaged, ... Is this common with tanfoglio pistols?
