  • This learning video is brought to you by @Chrysaellect India Chrysaellect M.E.E.T. Octopuses are sea animals famous for their rounded bodies , bulging eyes and of course their eight long arms . The Octopus is an interesting type of creature , they are mollusks , that’s right mollusks means soft bodies. Mollusks are invertebrates meaning they don’t have bones in their body . An interesting fact is that there is only one hard part in the octopus body… their beak. Octopuses can therefore squeeze into tight spaces. Octopuses are the most flexible animal. There are about 300 known species of octopus. Just look at the different colors and sizes. Just look how big this octopus is!! This is the world's biggest octopus called giant pacific octopus (pause). And look at this tiny octopus, octopus Wolfi is the smallest octopus in the world.
Most of us think octopus have eight arms but the fact is they have both feet and arms . Six limbs function as arms and two act more like legs , helping the octopus walk along the seabed and push off when swimming. The limbs of an octopus have over 200 suction cups also called suckers that are made of tiny, complex muscles. These suckers are helpful in tearing flesh , lifting weight , holding the ocean surface firmly , capturing prey and also in tasting .
Apt for grade one and two kids as well. These preschool learning videos will benefit kindergarten or Jr. K.g and Sr.Kg , nursery as well as play school children.
