This is the only boss fight in any game where I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. Tried shooting the drones, didnt work because he was reviving them too fast. Then I defaulted to superior firepower strategy and eventually won.

Crysis 2 and 3 are one of the best shooters I've ever played.... Graphics are so pleasant and shooting is so fun in these games. Customizing guns on the go is awesome. K-Volt is one of most memorable guns in games.
Exactly crytek still havent made games that can come close to their crysis titles and I miss the one of a kind action of this series i just noticed after seeing this video lol 😍😭😭
We're getting Crysis Next, which is a BR. And Crysis VR. But no talks of a sequel have come out yet. I doubt we'll be getting one. It's been mainly remasters.
But still how can you forget the Mastermind fight. He was second to only the Alpha Ceph himself. I mean Pingers were just your average brawlers in front of him.
It won't matter, he ressurects then so as you shoot them all down. Overwhelm him with firepower until he grabs you and pulls you in towards him then overkill his energy cell with space bar. I focused on the drones as first but he just keeps bringing them back immediately after it's pointless to even waist firepower on them.
@IggyBlade i managed to just overload him with fire power, that's all I did. There's a couple of alien weapons around one of the dead bodies just stand there and over load him. Not sure if the game glitches out but I had no issue doing it that way I didn't even take damage.
@@justinbowen1183 I just checked and it seems that there's a limit to the amount of drones it can resurrect before it grabs you. As for just dumping firepower, it looks like at some point the Mastermind launches all drones as kamikadze at you and then grabs you. Doesn't seem connected to the amount of firepower used.
First time ever playing the franchise and i have loved them all, im on ps5, im at this boss and had no idea how to kill it, i was peppering it with everything i had lol still died.

Such a feast to eyes action was going on wauw this is why i love games that came out during the ps3 era, they were the best. And this is why i have a hard time accepting when i see a poll and when is asked wich console from the psx to the ps4 was the best and ps3 ends up as last. I mean look at the games that were released during the ps3 . Wauw just wauw 😐! 😅😅

Crysis 2 is my favorite of the series, though I love all three. The spectacle of 2 is just too damn dope.

one of my longest boss fight hell yeah even RGPs wont take you 3 hours to finish them i retried and retried eventually i used that ceph canon
oh and as allways the jelly in the beck of it was the weak point it will stop form attacking you for 0.5 sec if you hit it there

there are ceph ships that yeets the sh*t out of capsules that carries cephs. it probably popped out of one of these capsules

My combinatioon is a c4, L-TAG, MIKE, and all arrow types to kill the ceph mastermind ( or field commander )
