I think in another way of interpreting it, or maybe even like a double way of interpreting it- it's to like deflect the blame or responsibility off of other people?? Like in that video everyone was saying Yoongi was super far away so he couldn't stop by, and he made it sound like "oh i was just in the area and thought i'd drop by" so maybe Hoseok didn't feel guilty or whatever for Yoongi coming all that way to visit him??
I think Yoongi is a very sensitive person and feels things very deeply. He is so honest about himself and it is obvious he loves the other members. I think he would be a very loyal and protective friend. Happy birthday Yoongi.

I would say Yoongi is the strongest BTS. He went through a lot before their debut, worked so hard to get where he is now ( they all worked hard of course) came from a poor family, didn’t get the support he needed but that didn’t stop him from following his dreams. Despite the quiet, serious facade people are used to seeing, he is actually a soft, caring and loving person and it shows when he cries. Our Yoongi rarely cries but when he does it hits different. ❤️

My favorite moment from when they won Artist of the Year for the first time was when Yoongi embraced Namjoon and talked about how hard they had worked, and how all of RM's work paid off (completely discounting all the work he did, too). Yoongi is such a gem.

I don’t know why …out of all members I was very curious about him. I started watching videos to understand his nature because it does no do justice to his image he portrays in the interview. I now understand why.
I feel so protective about him. His early life experience has humbled him and made him very calm and collective. I have seen his replies to things, tried to study his body language, how he responded to things. This guy is actually very smart.

Suga who left his family and gambled his education just to do what he really wanted to be,
