The crown jewel of the legendary Ezbergrodeo, Red Bull Hare Scramble serves as the culmination of a 4-day party celebrating everything Hard Enduro. Red Bull Hare Scramble gives 500 riders the opportunity to claw their way out of the bottom of a quarry to try and conquer the Iron Mountain. Standing in their way are a mixture of punishing near-vertical climbs and descents, boulder gardens and treacherous forestry that are designed to destroy both man and machine. Naturally, of the 500 starters, it’s a race where only the strongest survive and only the legends of the sport have won.

Congrats to Graham Jarvis. 43 years old, 4x winner and riding a 2 stroke Husky. Showing kids half his age how it's still done. Just like Rossi in Motogp. Big fan of the older guys still at the top tier of their sports respectively.

Its always amazing the style of riding Graham does. Every single race he knows he wont win in the flat out sections. He takes his time, picking them off one by one. Not even a top ten start but he does it again. Seriously a Silent Assassin in the sport. Well done.

This is definitely a example of how much Graham Jarvis loves this sport. To go at a race where you don't win money (tho he's probably getting paid by sponsors) and come in top 20 yet finish strong at the end when no one talked about him at the beginning counting him out.. that and billy bolt,wade young and Manual Lettenbichler earned my respect of helping rivals out. Don't see that on this side of the pond for sure

Thanks for posting to RUclips but the commentary on this leaves a lot to be admired. At least there is one guy who knows what he is on about but the rest are useless and know absolutely nothing about bikes or the history of this race. A lot of improvement to be had in this area Red Bull

Looking for oblong rocks lodged in the hillside seems to be a common target. Wheel torque cementing these cobblestone-like rocks in the boulder sections.

The riders are still making bank off their sponsors.
MotoGP, Supercross/Motocross, etc make bank off sponsors but still get nice prize money for winning a race.
For these guys the win is all they need. This is about prestige, conquering the challenge and pure sport and sportsmanship. Not everything in life revolves around money, some things are worth far more.

the riders cant run through them but if the bike is sliding down into the net u can pull the bike free or a outsider can pull the net off ur tires so you dont rip the netting down
