    Hi dear..
    Thank you for explains that important subject which is the Random Vibration Analysis Theory..
    The standard deviation of any Random signal equal to the root mean square (RMS) only when the mean of that signal is equal to zero, that's means that the signal is Stationary and ergodic with zero mean

    grms is just acceleration measured in g units using accelerometer.
    Y we use acceleration measurement & not displacement is bcz it is easy as acceleration measured wrt universal inertial frame, not any specific surface
