I grew up listening to his Christmas albums as my parents adored him. But the I'm Coming Home album was my first Johnny Mathis album that I just had to have. I was 11 years old and it was my birthday. I was in the record store with my mother. I saw it and said look Mom -it's Johnny Mathis - you like him - I want this one, please! All i saw was the album cover and all of a sudden John went from being someone of my parent's age to this incredibly gorgeous man hunk of my dreams. Then when we got home I listened to it with my parents and we all loved it! At the time, I was also in love with the Bay City Rollers and of course my parents did not like them - so, it was nice to have at least some music we could share some love with. This will always be my favorite Johnny Mathis album and wow - look at him in this amazing video! I had great taste for being 11 years old, dontcha think!
