Custom Hydra Splatling Gameplay - Splatoon 3 | Anarchy Battle (TC)

Gameplay of custom hydra splatling in tower control. This weapon is really fun to play with. The main weapon is pretty solid. The range is pretty good, the damage and dps is really good, and it paints pretty well. But a huge weakness of the weapon is the charge time. The moblitly of the weapon isn't that good either but the slow charge time can really hurt the weapon's ability to fight and apply pressure. This weapon is slow but powerful and is capable of apply great distance pressure. The custom kit is pretty solid as well. Ink mine is pretty good at controlling areas by locating and damaging those who activate it, and splattercolor screen help block the enemy's view of you and your team position and can either help you get in or punish those you try to go through or around the screen. This is a pretty solid kit that can help protect the weapon from aggro pressure and can change the way the enemies approach. Small tip: this weapon is primarily going to be playing pretty passive. Your going to be staying back to paint, apply pressure, and even provide a jumping point for your team. When placing ink mine, place them either in areas that you expect enemies to approach from or in areas that your planning to apply pressure from. As for splattercolor screen, its a bit complicated. You're not going to be using the special that frequently, but when you do use it, try placing it in routes that your planning to push in. Splattercolor screen blocks the views of both teams and sure, the enemies can either go through or shoot the screen or even go around the screen. But hydra has the range to punish those options and even has an opportunity to play a bit more aggro to take out other backline weapon, which this weapon really struggle to fight against. It's a great tool that can help the weapon defend an area of the map or even help it get in to apply some pressure. The build that I use has run speed, ink saver (main), and object shredder. 8:58 this is the reason why i love this hydra more than booyah hydra, i can charge without the enemy knowing where i am, my only issue with this hydra is it being red instead of a yellow fire hydrant

In term of the visual differences between the vallina kit and custom hydra, I wish there was better. But I too like the custom hydra more than the vanilla kit.

I hate hydras. They’re too slow plus hard to use.😒
