Soooo cool! I grew up in Ngeremlengui. I recognized the lady waving from the taro patch. I also recognized my grandmother's house. My family sponsored one of the PC Volunteers when I was growing up. I believe her furst name was Norma. Thank you for sharing. So wonderful to see my old home.
Thank you so much for sharing that you recognized people and places from growing up in Ngeremlengui. If you want to share their names, I will add this information to the photo inventory on the website. I am collecting comments from families that hosted PCVs. If you want to share any stories about sponsoring Norma, please send to me at kpvcollection@gmail.com. Do you still live in Palau?
You have brought a smile to my face, Dale. Thank you so much for letting me know that you are the beautiful 12-year-old girl we shared the boat to Peleliu with. Appreciate your thank you. I worry about people's privacy, but each photo may be precious to someone and it seems better to share than to have them lost forever. Your words are encouraging and I have just posted a story from 1967 in Truk/Chuuk.
Hi. The Xmas video that turned off the comment section; i grew up with some of the kids in the slide show. I'm guessing this Xmas celebration was held either on Navy Hill or Capitol Hill. I see Lynn Propst if I'm not mistaken with her name. Also; i see Mrs. Haberman and Lucy Ada. Your slide show brought back old childhood memories for me. That Xmas song sung in Chamorro too. Thank you for sharing. God bless.
Thank you, Thank you for sharing all of these . 🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️❤❤❤
