I'll probably never meet one of these snakes but the catchphrase associated with them will never leave me. 10+ years ago when I was a kid there was this dude on Animal Planet comparing these to coral snakes. Red on yellow kills a fellow, red on black venom lack! Edit: nvm it was a king snake
0:12 then in December she laid 10 eggs 1:02 i found out that she laid another 12 eggs. 1:04 Thats 24 eggs in the last two months. 🤔🤔🤔 something does not add up.
I’m curious what you think about the problem with pythons in the Everglades? I’ve read the Pythons are being caught and humanely destroyed. Do you feel that is the best solution? It seems to be the only answer.
All animals will shed! As humans we shed millions of skin particles a day. Snakes just do it in one big pieces. They shed for 2 main reasons. 1. As they grow the skin does not, so they shed it for more space. 2. Shedding the skin helps remove parasites that can cause health issues.
Can I ask how big (weight and/or length) your female is? I have a tri who will be roughly 2 in April 2024, and I think she's female but I need to re check as I probed her when she was much smaller. If she is male then she's probably full sized but I'm hoping for a bit more growth as far as females go I'm just curious when adult females seem to be at a good breeding size. That information is readily available for ball pythons, wester hognoses, crested geckos, etc but I can't find many specifics on this species!
I love this in not a fan of snakes but this has been an interesting journey also ima be hearing “these tricolor hog nose eggs” in me dreams now lol
These snakes are so beautiful and that I was doing research on these guys but I can’t bring myself to feed it mice/rats
They are SO CUTE. I think Hognoses are the cutest and I have never seen them tri color before! Beautiful!
They are so cute 😍, thanks to your channel I'm less scared of snakes :)
You made my day Bafa!! 🐍💚
That’s awesome. I started wondering what happened to the rest of the hog nose eggs.

Apparently she can store some of the male stuff in her then use it for later
@@nicmagtaan1132 yes, that is correct, almost all snakes can do this!! That has nothing to do with the math not adding up.
It was like a continuous christmas morning at every peek! Cuties!
That’s awesome! Surprise eggs are always a good time!
9:47 I have a corn snek mate 😊
When will any of the hognoses be available to buy/adopt?❤❤
I think snake is like a beautiful creature
Me too! 🐍💚
Oh I do love a double clutch!!
She does look beautiful
what do you feed these tiny little noodles?
I fed my baby hogs rat legs! They were too small for pinkies so I had to cut the legs off the rats I was defrosting for other snakes
Do you think she kept laying eggs because you kept taking her eggs away?
Did the last clutch not make it?
*He keeps taking the eggs*
The snake: "I'll never be a mother at this rate!"
So cute 😍

What happened with the third batch of rattlesnakes? They looked okay?
What is the most egg u had 😊
In 2020 my Bredli python laid 27 eggs in one clutch! That was my biggest.
My son just asked me why snakes shed their skin. Can someone explain that to me so I can tell him?
All animals will shed! As humans we shed millions of skin particles a day. Snakes just do it in one big pieces. They shed for 2 main reasons. 1. As they grow the skin does not, so they shed it for more space. 2. Shedding the skin helps remove parasites that can cause health issues.

Visually she doesn't seem too much smaller than your lady here but I also figure my hands are probably smaller than yours, in comparison, too lol
^ This guy is really good at Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He should go hit up his gym with his friends.
I definitely need to. I miss all of my jiu Jitsu friends…. even when they whoop on me the entire class. 😂
You forgot one 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😮😮😮😮😮😮
A journey.
I wish some of the videos don’t leave us hanging 😢 I am curious about the rest of the eggs
😮😮😢
Don’t they have a short life span? I believe that’s why they lay so many
Yes, Fairly short compared to some snakes. They live to be about 8 years old.
It is so hard to get the right levels! Moss, no moss, which substrates etc
I believe some human mothers would love to love to have so many opportunities to make a kid who doesn't disappoint them 😂😂😂
You okay? You wanna talk about something??
💜💚🎉🎉🎉🎉💚💜
"She had other plans and decided to impregnate herself."
I am in the market, sooooo..... 🤔
Don't snakes like the part of the brain to feel love or is that not true
She keeps laying eggs bc they keep coming up missing
