      @@APEXGuerillaYes, Vince did and said many questionable things both on and off camera. However, some people's experiences with an individual will not be everyone's. For example, there are many women who have had less than favorable interactions with Vince McMahon and there are many men who can both testify to this, and also in different ways have had similar experiences. With this being said however, there are still plenty of people who will still go up to bat for Vince's name because he showed love and compassion towards them.

    Vince's ideas worked at the time they had to, because otherwise he would have gone out of business. The first time was with the very first WrestleMania and the second during the MondayNightWars. In between when things where going well because of Sponsors and TV deals, he just did what he was pleased to do. What he enjoyed and not the fans. So I doubt that Vince was always that "genius" of that industry some people say he was. Gain, he maybe was, but under pressure to go out of business.

      Shut up, the guy not only knew hot to bussiness wise destroy everyone but also how to make compelling stories, push stars, influence and book hundreds of people, while engaging thousends. Perfect example, 2005 royal rumble, he came from the back and fixed everything with wrestling sense in a middle of a mess. He told Batista to shove Cena, and then gave Cena instructions to do the same, that's ON THE SPOT, with torn quads, and that's messing with people perceptions and persuading the whole event, to gain from the chaos, while giving directions, to go for the ending. That example only makes him a TOP TOP performer and MIND in the bussiness. So, yeah, the old man was weird and special.

      @@coachvictor_gameHe took his dad's company, capitalised on an already-made idea (Hulkamania) while trying to make a show filled with garbage men, monks, and clowns. Then he struck gold with Rock and Austin. He's also tried booking himself in storylines where he's sleeping with his daughter.
      The guy's been lucky, he's not a genius. And in the very end he had to run away with his tail tucked between his legs because of his own actions.

    • @JohnSmith-tt1nh
      @JohnSmith-tt1nh 2 месяца назад +6

      Most promoters probably don't get Broken Matt Hardy. AEW wouldn't let him do it at all. Vince at least gave him a couple of tries at it, and got the formula "enough" to reproduce it to some extent with the AJ Styles vs Undertaker Boneyard match without Matt involved. But thankfully Broken Matt is back is working again with TNA where that character can really breathe and thrive.

    Vince gave freedom to the ones he could trust to do the right thing. But he had to oversee other people’s work because they were not trusted. The people complaining about Vince have probably never been a CEO of a billion dollar company. You have to be the way he was in order to do what he has done.

    Stop trying to force The “Paul Levesque Era” thing , stick to Triple H. The need to constantly shove terms like “new era” down everybody else’s throat non-stop 24/7 kinda gets annoying.
