Another fun video with Quenby - too short tho LOL. As to flaws, I too was so often finding things at home that should have been visible in the store. I realized I was looking at the whole "forest" rather than inspecting individual "trees" lol. So I developed S.W.I.F.T., an acronym to remind me to check five specific areas where most flaws are found. Surface (for stains & holes), Wear (if you ask is this too worn, IT IS!), Interior (neck, arm pits, hems, underleg area, etc) Fasteners (zips, buttons) and Trim (braid, sequins, beads). If I do those things one at a time, it really goes quickly, but I don't miss as much. Maybe figure out a trick that works for you to see the trees, not the forest LOL. xoxo

I live in Clovis and my nearest bins is Salinas. When I take the 2.5 hour drive I HAVE TO STOP AT THE LULULEMON OUTLET AS A PRIZE FOR myself for sourcing so cheap and driving 5 hours and shopping for 5-7 hours all in one day lol! Not that cheap if you count my prize 😂😅

@TheGratefulQueen I get probably 85% of my product from there. I just pulled a Farm Rio dress on Friday. 🤯 I pull very, very good product from our bins and I am SO thankful!! My bins is about 12 minutes from me and the GW retail is about 5 minutes from me, trully blessed!! ❤️❤️❤️
for my QC i check zippers, buttons, armpit seams, and CROTCHES on bottoms. Sometimes i do miss stuff tho lol.

@@TheGratefulQueen i just think of all working parts but no matter how thorough we think we are something still slips through. It's hard, for me at least, when at the bins because by the end i'm just so tired and starving. I usually fill my cart up and sort through it at the end.
yea sometimes its impossible to QC properly at the bins bc of the bad lighting... also the checkout line at mine (in nyc) can sometimes take a full hour (then an hour on the train home for me) so i'll often like take my huge laundry bag to the back of the line as its forming and quickly go through everything and transfer into my ikea bag what i'm gonna buy.... so i miss things for suuuure lol

I just got a Life is Good bag at my bins last week, and I grabbed a handbag made in Italy it turned out to be Python. I didn't know bags were made of python. I am cross listing the 21 listings I made yesterday on eBay, what a headache what was I thinking. Plus I need to make more listings today.

That Anthropologie sweater had several holes and lots of wash wear. It was small Cropped. Yes I listed the Celine Paris blazer for $299 on ebay. Hope it sells in the Fall. Thank you ❤️

Amazing find on that Celine blazer! I am hearing about some sketchy things happening at the RR. They have a questionable past, too, according to a piece I saw that included interviews with some former employees. There is another reseller I watch and she had a designer item “sequestered” by the RR claiming they couldn’t determine it’s authenticity so they are holding it and not automatically returning it to her! I would not do business with a company that did that. It’s too risky, imo.

Huh, really good to know. I have not done the research, so everything I have heard is just word of mouth. I listed the jacket on ebay, so I will try that 1st. Don’t send to the real real, they sell so cheap that reseller buy there to sell in other places, specially if your piece sits , they just keep lowering and lowering the price

Lori Tata uses a stain removal formula of hydrogen peroxide, blue Dawn dish soap and baking soda. That would have taken care of the stain on the Life is Good tshirt!! ❤ I love your hauls, Quenby!! I am a thrifter, but not a reseller!! 🥰
Yes, that is my stain treating formula too. It works so well. It does not work for bleach though, but most everything else xo Quenby😍

This is so ridiculous- You buy used,old clothes for super cheap and you think people are going to pay $45 or $100 for this stuff- Really how is tht working for you???? Better off getting clothese from relatives and garage sales, or clearance clothes at stores (new )
