I understand/can speak Swedish and English, so now that I have seen the English translation of this song in this video, I understand what this song is all about. It’s all about when you feel some kind of unbearable pain.
And that ”kind of unbearable pain” could also be unpleasant memories, that you feel very bad from remembering, and you want a literal memory eraser instrument, to erase those memories permanently, for real. And that’s me, actually. I suffer unpleasant memories of a former ”annoying friend”, and I think those memories, and even that friendship history, are the root of all worries in my life.

@jedivvarfare The band has shortened "Domine", meaning Lord or God in Latin, to "Dom", for the sake of musical metre and rhythm. Therefore, "ameno Dom" is taken to mean "free me, Lord". "Ameno dori me" means "free my pain" but I guess "soften my pain" sounds better. I'm sure if you want a full and proper translation you could look it up in a Latin-English dictionary. Creative licence is allowed in music. It still sounds great.
