Last Days, most of these people in this Church came out of the "Holiness" Church. So they know about shouting. It doesn't matter, though, these people will shout you down, speak in tongues and the whole bit.....but will not speak to you...will walk right past you... not friendly at all! It's just a show! This is why I left the Church. Tired of the hypocrisy! I have so much more peace just sharing in a small group and sharing Jesus whenever and wherever They have all these man made rules that means nothing! "Church Membership, New Members class, etc....means nothing! I have been gone for a long time, now....no one has called to see what's up with me, am I okay, etc...nothing! That's why I would recommend that people not worry about putting their names on the log and going through 7 weeks of New Membership classes it means nothing! Just go when you go and give a good offering if you can. They want your Tithes and offering! Tithing is not required for the New Testament believers.
The Holy Ghost changes people on the outside. He guides people to obey God's Word. You can't tell if the Holy Ghost is present by watching this... not at all.
I was brought up baptist , but now I'm pentecostal, But denomination does not matter to God, that's man. The baptist church I left as a kid has now a more pentecostal atmosphere.

why do people categorize worship for Baptists as putting on a show or trying to be pentecostal it shouldnt be that way its just as if not more pure and authentic as anyone else who praise god

Only thing I'll say is it's the anointing on the choir. I believe these ppl live holy maybe not perfect but holy and that's why God is in there midst. Plus the whole thing is about glorifying God for what he has done.

I remember growing up Baptist and if you lifted your hands in praise you would get so many side eye looks man I would have hated for someone to take off running around the church to the deacons, trustees and matron's we're having a talk with you before next Sunday...lol
