I think he could've still had an excuse for gettings hands on the kind of cash he paid the broker. But apparently, the feds found out it was his name that was used for the rentals thus pinning him and then snitching the crew.
What are the odds that he was the one who rented the U-Haul truck. What are the odds the U-Haul truck sticker came off. They were unlucky in that regard. I'm surprised they didn't have someone else rent the truck for them, sure the person might find it weird but legally you couldn't say just because person x rented a truck for me, that I was using it to rob a bank.

How would you move all the money first and second you can’t deposit any money cause of the serial numbers so the only way to get away with this would to travel by yourself to a country that doesn’t have a peace treaty with America so they can’t come in the country and take you in and then deposit the money in their currency but that’s the only way I can think of but there’s probably flaws in that plan to . (Coast guard stopping you ) etc
