Unfortunately I cannot watch the live broadcast at this time. At the most I might get a few minutes in, So I just watch it after you have streamed it. I do like the broadcast have learned alot and had a few laughs. Keep it up. Maybe in time I can be in line for that grip sack.😄
HUGE POP for Score More with Nelson Burton Jr.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My parents bought that tape for me when I was 3 or 4 years old and I wore it out as a kid. I still shoot spares with that tape in mind even though it's so archaic. The absolute best bowling tape of all time.
Brunsnick and Phil, I wanted to add a 3rd ball. I have a Hammer Effect and a Hammer Scorpion LowFlare. Wanted to ask your opinion of adding a Radical Hitter solid or the new Hammer Pure Envy?? I’m a speed dominant player. I want something stronger than the Effect. I was thinking to get The Hitter and using the ‘versatile’ recommended layout on the website. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Or is Radical coming out with something new soon that I should wait for?? Thanks guys. Love the show!
Yes. Currently the big 3 in the US are Brunswick, Storm and Motiv. Most house brand balls are poured by either one of those 3, or are made in China. Swag/Legends/Lane Masters are all poured in Korea by Lord Field, and Legends/Lane Masters havent released a new ball in a few years. 900 Global also used to pour some house brands including early Radical balls, but were absorbed by Storm.
I would rather be on the hook rather than a customer assuming, oh this new ball is so pretty and look at how the promo looks. I can throw like that. Customers should know the guy promoting the ball is most likely a pro and can manipulate the ball to look awesome. At my shop, i would rather give a lesson than just order a ball for someone guessing what ball might work for them. Now, i know some bowlers know how to look at the specs and know what ball they need for their aresenal. I always ask why do you want this particular ball. I also price my lessons at inexpensive prices to howpfully push people in that direction.
