Good triple back flip taking the abuse. M2C chassis is lighter but also flexes more creating a bend. I personally prefer the Just Bash it for heavy bashing and the quality when side by side is no comparison.
It is heavier. I run thicker shock oil and tekno orange springs to accommodate. It’s worth the weight for how strong the parts are. As you can clearly see in the video. All bashing rc’s you see on my channel are running JBIRC parts. It’s not overly heavy and breaking other parts, don’t let that deter you if you’re thinking of purchasing an upgraded JBIRC chassis!
Go with whichever you like. I’ve bent 2 M2c’s in my kraton and my friend bent his as well. Chassis brace issues due to the amount of flex. Multiple ppl have had the same issues. No more issues with just bash it chassis and braces. It all depends on what bashing you do and what suits your needs
From my experience when compared to stock brace the m2c was clearly machined very wrong. I sent many pics to Mitch at m2c and he gave me a BS answer that he couldn’t duplicate the same issue at his shop. So I bought JBIRC braces and they fit perfect and were identical to stock braces. It’s been JBIRC ever since.
@@nashtytracks Definitely interested in what was wrong on mitch's design. Can u elaborate? The part I was referring to is the rear shock tower braces specifically. I incorrectly said chassis brace. Normally the additional rear shock tower brace doesn't seem like it fits the typhon but I see you have them. m2cracing.net/arrma/381-m2c-3035-arrma-kratonoutcast-series-rear-shock-tower-brace.html
@@dougk4071 I had no issues at all fitting the tower brace. It has to do with the order in which you install the parts to make it work. The rear chassis brace was machined very wrong. The hole for the bolt at the wing mount did not line up at all. Brand new chassis as well. No reason for it not to fit. And like I said I bought JBIRC braces and rear fit perfect. When holding up the rear brace to the stock one the m2c didn’t match but the JBIRC one matched perfect. It was an obvious machining issue but I got the run around and “not all parts are to nasa specs” response. I’ve had nothing but above and beyond customer service from Curt at JBIRC. So he’s my go to guy now unless he simply doesn’t make a part I want. Then I’ll buy from m2c.
@@dougk4071 unfortunately I can’t post pics on here (at least that I’m not aware of) and you can see for yourself the issue I had the with m2c rear chassis brace. The pics speak for themselves
@@nashtytracks Ok I'm following. Definitely not a good sign for M2C to have anything out of spec. Would like to see the photos only if your willing as I'm about to pull the trigger and do business with Curt as well. If you have time email those pics to me at dwk3000@yahoo.com I'm definitely getting the shock tower brace as that was designed to work well for bashing imo. I do find it odd that that part is not listed to fit the typhon on their website. Thanks for your time 👊

There new light weight typhon/outcast chassis. Is gonna make m2c sweat for sure.
Did that make it a lot heavier I heard there stuff is to heavy and will end up breaking other stuff

So on a normal typhon the m2c rear chassis braces don't fit right? What am I missing? Btw video was on dope. Wish I had a jump spot like yours 👊
