It’s a great figure but lots of missed opportunities with this figure. Should have included what he wears in the trailer, the baby, and a separate Peter head sculpt.
I actually really like the wave because I love the spiderverse style and just the silly proportions so when I see spiderverse styled figures that are cheap I will love them. the main thing that i dont like about the wave is the articulation like the abe crunch on miles and spider punk both look pretty bad and I think that most of the figures should have had butterfly joints to give that fool range of motion. But my favorite of this wave is either miles or spider man 2099 I would say peter b parker but I don't really need him sense already have one. if you read this I'm proud of you

in across he is wearing his full suit minus the boots, gloves and mask, he has socks and slippers, a pink robe and a baby carrier, they could have done that to be movie accurate or the full suit bc everyone wants that look, its like they are teasing us, with the first movie they released the sweatpants and jacket version and yeah that made sense and its a cool figure, now would be a perfect time to release the full suit but they went with just sweatpants, cmon, thats just lame
@spidey_idk in my opinion it’s better it’s retail price was 20 pounds and you get 3 pairs of hands 2 heads and a cup accessory and this new one 25 pound and one pair of hands
They should rerelease Prowler in a 2nd Across The Spider Verse wave but with 2 pairs of Interchangeable hands like 2 fisted hands and 2 open clawing hands.
Hasbro could have given us a deluxe figure with like interchangable parts and stuff, but hey we have the sentinel for that one. I might still pick this up tbh.
I don't think Legends will ever give the full body suit like Mafex or Sentinel and considering Peter B is wearing a bathe robe and slippers in ATSV that's most likely the next version Hasbro will make .
Now that the movie is out i guess we can all say that this figure is pretty much pointless since he literally never wears this in the entire second movie, and they never made a haloween costume miles to go along with this guy if they were going with the look in the first movie. Smh
I found this and The Spot at Walmart this past weekend and could not believe they would even brand them as Marvel Legends, never mind charge $25 each for what are basically janky children's toys worth maybe $10 each. I've severely cut back on my Legends purchases over the past few months, and the direction toward crap like this is the reason why, although this figure really represents a new low. The previous Peter B. Parker figure was inspired and had lots of fun accessories. This is straight-up trash.
It’s so sad because the new stuff here is really good. The top half of the figure is what I’ve wanted. The Sentinel one is fantastic but I don’t have that money so I was banking on an affordable alternative. This is not that. It’s close but about 50% off. That is to say half of the figure should’ve been different. I guess I understand, in a wave otherwise completely absent of reuse, they had to make their money back somewhere. It looks like every other figure in the wave is a 100% new sculpt, (except maybe Miles’ head?) and that has to be costly. It’s just a shame that it’s our boy Peter B who had to suffer for it.
Hasbro needs to take notes from Jada. Their Fei Long is very similar in terms of build and a good example of how you could execute articulation and engineering on this guy. But Hasbro hates giving ball joints room to move properly apparently.
They changed her origin in the movie. That’s her universe Peter Parker. In the comics. Peter Parker turned himself into the lizard. Holding him like that as he died was basically taken from the comics, just slightly altered
Wow you have the same defect as mine. The butt on mine has those same dents and misalignments as yours. BYW the upper torso can go to the sides, I think yours just has issues.
Wish we could’ve gotten a full basic Spider suit Peter B. as well.
Plus the bathrobe and slippers version with baby Mayday would’ve been fun too!

Man, some swappable legs with the regular costume legs would have be nice.
For me, this version of Peter B. Parker is close enough for a full-on Spider-Man figure for this saga.

The marvel legends sweatpants are on a ball joint same as sentinel how does it look if you try to to the sentinel torso on the legends legs
