For those who don't want/unable to purchase digsite teleports, get a ring of dueling, teleport to Al Khalid duel arena, and slightly south west use the gnome glider to Lemanto Andra (requires completion of The Grand Tree)

Just as an FYI: Don't walk back to the exam centre each time. Before starting the quest, find a house with the "Senntisten" teleport, this teleport will take you right next to the Exam Centre. It'll save you around 5 minutes of running around :].
If anyone here looking at this quest is financially unable to afford 6 digsite teleports, you may also use a Ring of Dueling to head to Al-Kharid and use the Gnome Glider to "Lemanto Andra"! Hope this helps!
8 digsite teleportations* 1 to get there and 1 to save time running back to the expert for the last time after blowing up the brick and collecting the tablet Only need 1 varrock teleport and then one teleport to the place you want to be after finnishing the Quest.
fun fact if you're doing this on two accounts at once and one opens the chest both can serach the chest for the chemicals while keeping the key on one account
Any new cats here, you can save a ton of money doing this on the house party servers and using max house teleports. then all you need is a home teleport to go anywhere and everywhere.
It seems like there's an error in the online version of this quest guide. It says to search for a book after you talk to Doug exam center. But in this guide clearly you do not need to do so.
if u dont wanna waste ur money on digsite teleports ..get a chronice from diango in draynor village ..charge it to teleport to champions guild..costs nothing
@morgan Eh I think it depends on your agility level. I've done it three times now at 40-60 agility range and only fallen a handful of times. The Dig Site is just so much running back and forth with nothing interesting.
The ending with the rare items to be placed in the display cases; doesn't work for me. 'That shouldn't be placed in there'.... i have yet to find any rare items either...

Day 843: Still only found buttons and broken armor but have reached mining level 15 which is nice.
Its the fastest method for 99 mining, using Trowel on soil.

Just a heads up if you wanna save a quick 100k, you can go to a max house and use the Sennistan teleport, little extra running but a lot cheaper.

Instead of using digsite teleports you can teleport to house on world 330 use a max nexus and teleport to Senntisten, save yourself 60k and some time.

Dont sleep on the gliders for getting to the dig site. Duel arena is close to a glider, so use it to go to dig site

technically there is a quest requirement because you need 10 herblore an that unlocks from a quest
