The joke in the video is that the MV copies your typical tragedy-romance K-Drama from the early 00’s, but the actors are all mouthing the song which are completely unrelated to the song (The song is literally about Superman). This was peak Korean comedy and peak Norazo.
Even with the song being light hearted and funny, when it's paired with the video, it makes it rather tragic, in an almost ironic fashion. It's been so long since I've watched this, and I still love it.
the song's talking about being a hero and its responsibilities while the video in contrast was about a love story that never happened. the guy in the video is the hero of the drama and the girl is the one he has to save. the girl decides to ditch the guy when she had heard the impossible news from the doctor. the intro was a flashback after the girl died. the girl had prepared a note in case she passes away without telling him anything. the guy reads the note in the car and is overwhelmed.
That's the point, if you understood Korean you probably would have realized that the actors in the video were lip syncing the song.It's freaking hilarious the way everyone's singing about Superman at a dead serious funeral.
