When Bungie had mass layoffs, the fired devs took to twitter to say that they knew every issue and complaint players had with the game, they, the devs took the complaints to the higher ups and the higher ups didn't care. Its safe to assume EA operates in the same way. Devs tell them, higher ups don't care until money is effected. When the money is effected, the higher up tell the devs to fix what ppl are mad about.

As for Mason Mount, I think he's evo bait. I think sometimes EA intentionally puts out SBCs lacking certain things so in a few weeks they become perfect fits for evos. 88 evos are around the corner, Mount is 89 so few there will be an attacking or midfielder paid evo he fits and looks ideal.
Ea only made a loss on two targets this year and one of them was an 11% decrease in sales for fc25 hence why they gave people FC points and have now introduced creator codes and done a massive patch, that's called pulling the wool over our eyes imo. The game absolutely has been shadow patched. It plays entirely different and it isn’t up to what the opponents are doing. Wiggle dribbling is way more pronounced now and you can’t run away from defenders with pace like you could.
Because everyone has good defenders now, if those numbers are true that 2 million people came back, even if half of those stayed, when they came back, their teams were probably shit depending on when they stopped playing. I stopped playing at the beginning of October with my best player being 87 Trailblazers Raphina and the rest were mostly golds, team rating of 83, came back after the patch, it took 2 weeks of grinding to catch up now my team is rated 93 and I’m sure I’m not the only one who significantly bettered their team in this time
Im really fascinated. This is my first UT. Everybody was so hyped over de 82x20 and calling it the best content ever, that alone tells you how sad this game is. Everytime a new promo launches it feels underwhelming and you will never touch the best cards. Anybody who plays UT year in year out, you are out of youre mind.
Maybe just don't read too deep into it and you'll be more happy with it. Don't give ea money and play the game however you like. That's what I do and I still pack the best players
They did change the scripting and DDA. Less scripting in defending. Or like earlier fifa's. CB just running away from attackers and stuff like that. So more goals in every game. The DDA on attackers stayed. Puskas Toty is hitting the post sometimes three/ four tomes a game. Scripting code is what kills the game experience. Intelligent people feel it and are fad up with it. The reason you can't talk about it in their forum , is obviously because there would be no other subject to talk about snymore than that.
Ea lost money cos they thought they could lower packs and we'd still buy them. So for example last game you spend 3k-4k on a pack but the guaranteed and weight were a lot better. So when ea gave you nothing it was fine. Everyone might have a different opinion but that's why I have not bought a single pack with cash.

tested gameplay for 10 years and gave up on the game and communitie when players start talking about ms . ms is 1/1000 and delay is in 1/10 . By the way the big update was not just a gameplay update , It made delay less . Better manuel player switch , less buggy acceleration ect . Now its back to normal and my defenders get outrun by attackers and my attackers getting outrunned by any defender on my connection
exaclty, 100% they changed something and i dont understand how some pro's dont notice and say the soft patch is fake when i felt it in the first game after they patched it, defender AI is OP again and shots in the box especially were nerfed, my 96 pele and 94 raphinia miss INSIDE the box on their strong foot for no reason, after the first patch everything went in inside the box, now they fked it again. Also pace is fked again, i guess div 10 cried a lot.

The patch they did was exactly because of the bad numbers in the Q1 report. It changed the game a lot. But the toxicity continues with creators like this hating on everything no matter what. You want to be the guy who said “listen to the feedback” and then if the stock takes a dip, it’s on you? And btw, as you’ve pointed out, the community asks for a lot of stupid stuff and often doesn’t know what it wants so you really want to act on that when nothing is wrong earnings-wise? @ it’s not that, it’s the way your player moves with the ball. The runs players make has also changed, as well.
I played rivals last night and had 2 different ppl quit. One backed out and one dashboarded at 1-1, neither one counted as a win for me.

Ea are such money grabbers man 🥴 gameplay definitely feels different every single game it got to be a match making server problem for it to be so inconsistent. The patch they did was exactly because of the bad numbers in the Q1 report.
It changed the game a lot. But the toxicity continues with creators like this hating on everything no matter what. Seems like a dreadful situation for a content creator. I’m just enjoying the game I have while not spending any real money. I’m not entitled to anything else. If you spend money it’s on you.

I don’t think you’re looking at EA’s behavior correctly. You say that they didn’t listen to our complaints but year on year they were making more money. How could you then change anything? You want to be the guy who said “listen to the feedback” and then if the stock takes a dip, it’s on you? And btw, as you’ve pointed out, the community asks for a lot of stupid stuff and often doesn’t know what it wants so you really want to act on that when nothing is wrong earnings-wise? Honestly, there were probably some EA people who needed for the stock to drop to have the clearance to implement what they did and I don’t blame them. Lesson here is our wallets dictate if things change. If you keep paying EA for shoddy product, that’s not on EA.
