2023 Middleburg Hunt & Hounds Christmas Parade, Middleburg, VA 12-2-2023

Enjoy a holiday season fit for a Charles Dickens novel in Middleburg on the first Saturday in December. This year it was December 2, 2023 it is the kick off to the Middleburg parade day. The smaller of the two parades but to me the most memorable. Trimmings and trappings are hung throughout the town, but the true gem of the Christmas in Middleburg event is the Middleburg Hunt parade as horses, accompanied by hounds, trot down the street carrying riders donning the scarlet jacket in celebration of an English tradition that’s become uniquely Virginian.
