If you watch the original movie. Daniel attacks Johnny first on the beach at the beginning of he moview. Then stole his girl, and title. Go back and watch. It's interesting if you watch the story develop from that angle and what that means for Johnny the victim.
To me it seems like although 30 years have passed Daniel still can't let go of it . Sure he is successful now etc but still can't stop trying to antagonize Johnny . So he was beaten in the tournament so now wants to ruin his business while Johnny really doesn't give a crap about Daniel unless he is trying to cause trouble for him .
Am I seeing things or William has a middle finger tattoo? It looks like a tiny 🐍 even. Then again, it's probably nothing and I might just be TOO into Cobra Kai 😂
