This is from a "Country Family Reunion" show. Bill Anderson is the MC, Mike Johnson on the steel, and Jimmy Capps on the guitar, and the rest of the room is filled with the legends of Classic Country.
Me either...He is a great singer. Have you heard any of his gospel songs? If he puts as much feeling in them as he does this song and I am sure he does, it has to be some great songs......This guy has got it going on and like some of the others said he is cute as a puppy too. I am glad his wife is singing with him at times and supports him in his music...You GO, Mo!
Revive real country music! If todays country acts would sing one country song from the past, in their shows it would be wonderful. It would be a good start for music, that's been pushed to the wayside.
Mo Pitney has left me speechless!! What a talented young man. Idk why he isn't BIG TIME yet? Not many have this kinda special talent! 10. + That song is so beautiful and this guy sings it better thAn anybody I have ever heard b4.
When a country song comes on the radio I sometimes joke to my wife, "It's funny how the same guy sings ALL the country songs. There he is again!" (even though it's a different singer each time). Not so with Mo Pitney; his voice is his own and it's GOLDEN. And those little vocal runs at the end? Amazing.
Mel Street ...another gifted artist from the hollows and hills of Southwestern Virginia , Eastern Kentucky And Southern West Virginia. Mo Pitney is definitely someone with the ability to carry the torch for traditional country music.
Beautiful voice from a wonderful person. He sings country oldies, but goodies. We need more singers and songs like this to educate this generation, what real country music was like from days gone by. Mo is filling there shoes there shoes, but he can't do it alone. One of the most influential singers, from the past was Marty Robbins and I hope his music will be revived. These country acts today aren't interested in old country, but if not for old country todays acts wouldn't make it. Beautiful video, thank you so much.
He certainly does a fantastic job on this. Mo is the best artist that has come around in years! He is traditional country and not the trash that is out there now.
I found Mo Pitney a few months ago. My reaction was the same as yours! I adore him! ❤ Since you liked this you will also like his version of “the note”. I can’t stop listening to it! Oh I found your RUclips this evening! Lol cheers!
How I love Mo! Oh my what a beautiful song and this guy is going to be even more popular as people get to know him.Classic voice of country! He’s fun and funny! What a young talent!
I've been listening to Mo on a number of sites, and I've left this or a similar comment on several of them. He sings the classics so beautifully, but what makes him great is his natural vibrato, gorgeous tone, and a way of bending the notes that make the songs his own without changing the original melody. That's not easy to do.
The people and/or performers here are host Bill Anderson and then Jeannie Seely, Cheryl White, Buck White, Sharon White (collectively as The Whites), Roy Clark, Jim Lauderdale, Tony Booth, Billy Yates, Linda Davis, Junior Brown, Mo Pitney, Wade Hayes, Eddy Raven, Daryle Singletary, Becky Hobbs, John Conlee, Moe Bandy, Ray Pillow, David Ball, Leon Rhodes, David Frizzell, Darrell McCall, Dale Watson, Jim Ed Brown, Rhonda Vincent, Jan Howard and Curtis Potter. Linda Davis at 6:10 is the mother of Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum and the backing singers at 6:22 are Norah Lee Allen and Jamie Allen Martin who are also mother and daughter. Sadly Roy Clark and Daryle Singletary have recently passed away.

I went looking through your library for more Mo because of the “who’s gonna fill their shoes” reaction. I haven’t heard the original, but this cover is more than good enough to go on my personal country playlist. Great reaction as well, keep following Mo!
That's Bill Anderson announcing, Jeannie Seeley, next to him, John Conlee in the blue shirt and brown vest, Roy Clark in the black striped shirt, black vest and flat cap, and Jim Ed Brown in the dark blue shirt, lots more that I can't name immediently...
That Song Means alot to Some people who have experienced that Song. It does For Me .its 4 years of My Life and if she would pop Back In my life I would welcome Her Back Again .
I've heard Mo live a couple of times and he is awesome. I was raised with the original old country and yes I agree more would be the one to fill their shoes !!!!! Keep the original country sound alive!!!!!
@A W What a treat for you to have seen him a couple of times! I'm going to see Colter Wall this Wednesday and am totally looking forward to it. He's another one who could fill their shoes, or at least their flip flops. Ha!

This is taken from the TV show Country Family Reunion. Their RUclips page has many other videos that are primarily classic country performers and songs but they do include some of the more traditional current artists. Episodes currently air on the RFD-TV station and the same country that makes that show also makes Larry's Country Diner which does a similar thing but in a different setting with 1 artist per episode instead of this show where there is a whole group gathered. Mo was born in 1993 just outside of Rockford, IL so this would have been from roughly 2015 depending on his birthday. His closest song to a hit (if you are looking for a 2nd song of his to do) is called Country. Unfortunately, he is considered too country to be played on country radio since all they want are pop-country or country-rap songs.
Mo has a lot of great music, and this was a good intro to him and a great reaction on your part as always. I'm always super busy with work but I enjoy binge watching some of your videos whenever I have the time. Keep up the great reactions!
First heard of Mo a few years back when his debut single "Country" got some radio play. I remember reading that his whole family were country/bluegrass musicians. Don't know for sure but usually when someone's accent is different than the locals, its because of the way their parents speak. Don, when you mentioned Miranda "capturing a sliver of life and blowing it wide open"...I couldn't help but think of her throwing a salad in some ladies lap she was arguing with a few days ago. That lady definitely caught a few slivers of something!! "Don't Mess with Texas" (gals)!

There are many older artists who perform, and sometimes younger artists like Mo Pitney . Mo was born in 1993 so he is still only 26, which makes the TV show episode about 4 years old .
Mo Pitney is great in so many ways .... the voice is stellar and the personality is winning!
Mo Pitneys "Borrowed Angel" is the best version I've ever heard.
