A Wi-Fi connection is needed for the Trimble R2 to establish a connection with your correction source. You have the option to download offline maps in the Field Maps App. You can use these offline maps to edit attributes & features without a Wi-Fi connection and then sync your updates once you establish an internet connection. Since the R2 requires Wi-Fi connection your offline editing will be a workflow that is not able to be paired with the Trimble R2.
Mine has a GNSS coordinate system and a map coordinate system selection when I'm doing the profile set up. Is there something im missing?

There seems to be no plus sign in the lower right corner of the Android phone, so how to collect data without the plus sign?
