I came for POG2, but I also stayed for the mike! Your voice is probably loved by all microphones, but if you really used 545SD here, it's something amazing! I looked back at your videos recorded with the SM7b, but 545SD sounds at least as good, if not better, for less than half the money! Now I have to buy a 545SD too!😵💫
I'd want a digital version of this where the faders are all on a big LCD screen and thus changes position when presets are switched AND I'd like to be able to control it using MIDI. Is there any pedal that fits that description?
@@ZachariahConnor Definitely! It's actually quite weird that none of the pedal manufacturers have made something like that. The same goes for a distortion with an expression input that allows you to fade-in the distortion from clean. And if you turn it off you can have it set so that it leaves a trail of distortion instead of a hard cut. A billion different distortion pedals out there and none of them has this ability to my knowledge!?! Perhaps there are some technical difficulties that I'm unaware of but I doubt it.
@@ZachariahConnor Yes, I imagine a distortion pedal with two channels. One that has a heavy distortion and the other that can be set to either clean and go up to a more edge-of-break-up sound. And it would then need a type of fast delay that only kicks in to pick up the heavy distortion as you're fading it out with the expression pedal. Say, when you reach about half, 50-40% with the pedal, the delay kicks in to pick up the distortion and leaves a trail 🤔 It sure would need some real wizardry but I think it could be done. And it would be f-ing awesome.
Great info so I am liking and subscribing.
Thanks!!
Someone anonymously gifted my very gifted brother a POG 3 so he gave me his POG 2. It is AMAZING.
Wow! That's awesome, congrats on the POGs
Awesome video. Love my POG2. Would dig a Pico comparison. POG3 was announced today but I'm not sold on it.
Thank you!! If the POG 3 wasn’t $675 I’d love to get one!

The 545sd rules! I think the 7b has better pop protection, but the 545 is way cheaper and sounds more finished
Great video man! I modded my pog2 to have soft switches and I love it. No more huge pops. Let me know if you want yours modded
Thanks!! Yeah I just found the BYOC relay kit and I think I might use that to mod the switches.
At 30:33 are you playing that lush chord with a volume pedal or guitar volume knob swell….it’s delish
Probably volume pedal! Thanks!!

I have yet to find such a device!! please let me know when you find it!!

Hmm the trail of distortion would be quite difficult, you'd have to do some digital magic for that. At least from what I can tell.
