He would literally have to play at an inhuman level. It's not even physically possible for a human to do that. Mash one frame then again 2 frames later. That's about 30 times a second. Not ever going to happen.

There are different mashing techniques depending on the game. I think Smallant's way wouldn't work in Pokey Pummel for example.

@@veky5046 actually only the a and b button worked he explained this in his calculator video a while back. He's mashing both. And even then it was kind of ant's games meaning he would most likely have the advantage

I use milliseconds and 10^-4 seconds for testing code efficency and optimization effectiveness.
Only other real world example I can think of would be scientific testing. Except they'll go even lower, if possible.

if you watch Smant, he's revealed before his tactic. It's literally tool assisted. Mapping multiple buttons to A and using a piece of plastic to flick them. Not in same category of mashing as what Lud does here.

You press that A button. And again. And again. Faster and faster. Officers burst into the room. But you can't stop now. You just keep pressing that A button. A cop jumps towards you. You scream and press the A button at supersonic speeds. You blink. You turn around. You see the universe slowly breaking. You look at your hand. The controller is still there. The A button looks worn out and destroyed. But you just can't help it. You want it. You need it. You press it.

I have been working so hard to beat my records on each game and I feel some hope now thank you for your video!!
In nes Tetris people have started tapping 4+ fingers on the back of the controller with a finger on the d pad to easily get 20 hertz (I think), however you only need to do a max of 5 inputs at once on the d pad so while it may be over all faster it probably isn’t consistent for mashing for more that a couple seconds

Any1 know why wired pro controller is worse? Sounds crazy.
Cable has a slower signal speed than wireless. Copper has more resistance than air, but the signal is far more reliable on a wire of course. Another fun example is that satellite signals travel faster than fiber/copper but they have to go to outer space and back so the overall latency is massive,. Specifically the speed of light down a fiber or copper cable is around 5.5 microseconds per km, while the speed of a satellite signal is around 3.3 microseconds per km, but of course the satellite signal travels tens of thousands if km to space and back, while the copper/fiber follows along highways/rail lines in a more direct path to your desired internet destination.
@@zackbelcher3896 Nice try but no. It's just that Nintendo are an incompetent bunch and they have a lower polling rate on wired than wireless for whatever reason. And some people tried to force a higher polling rate (which works) but still results in higher latencies *somehow again*.
