quick one by spamming desintegrate, dont we waste ticks?
Hey great question! In short - Yes, BUT our second damage tick hits twice in .1 second because of the reapplication of a new disintegrate; so basically when I'm bursting on a target I tend to spam disintegrates in hopes I get a proc eternity surge on those reapp disintegrates. If I get a proc at that moment, I do normally like 70-100k (noncrit) disin tick, 70-100k (noncrit) disin tick and a 60-90k eternity surge tick - so anywhere from 200-300k NONCRIT damage in .1 second just because I'm spamming the disintegrate. Where as if I'm letting the disintegrates just roll out and pressing them off the channel, what happens is the damage ticks every .3-.5 seconds so you can do like 170k with an eternity surge proc in one instance of damage MAX.
TLDR - Use full channel disintegrates outside of burst to save essence/utilize damage from Titanic Wrath essence bursts. Spam disintegrates while bursting to have a chance to do ungodly damage because of the way the tick rate of disintegrate works (it hits the first millisecond you begin the channel and hits as soon as your global comes back around).

I got absolutely burnt out sick and tired of trying to heal on my preservation evoker, going oom. Landing cc, pumping heals but still not able to out heal dmg. I said fuck it. Went devastation, loving it, never gonna look back on pres.

Hey! The Illusion enchant is no longer available as it's the VERY first PvP Illusion ever available (It was for hitting duelist back in Mist of Pandaria.)

why u spam desintegrate? i think u waste 1 tick
I waste 2 ticks worth of damage by spamming it - you spam it so that it deals damage twice in one instance on the second tick. It results in far higher burst in small instances. So when I'm going for a kill on someone I spam disintegrate. If can do over 270k damage in .1 second if an eternity surge procs at the same time as I reapply a new disintegrate mid disintegrate.
Basically disintegrate deals damage the millisecond it begins channeling, when you spam disintegrate the disintegrate thats being channeled deals damage at the same exact time as the new one is applied - dealing basically double the damage of a normal disintegrate tick in one instance. So every recast of disintegrate does 170-200k non crit basically.
I fully channel disintegrates if I'm just going for sustain damage/outside of bursts.

You reached legend level? i remember you smashed my casual unxperienced ass at 1.2 rating and i decided to quit the game. A great many like me do the same. At the end this game will be only for glads and legends. Good luck playing against each other.
Hey man! I'm really sorry that happened to you, I'm honestly quite surprised you have this outlook - We have no choice or selection on who we're going to fight against bud.
So while I understand your sentiment; at the end of the day - there's nothing we can do. I don't play alts of the same classes either so it isn't even like I was just farming low rated lobbies for fun. Most likely you just happened to be one of the first games I qued into if I did really que into you boss.
