When it comes to harm or ethicality, it won't make much of a difference. "Can I trust it when a website claims for the tail they sell to be faux fur?" NO. Not without using your eyes first. There are plenty of websites, especially Asian websites such as Wish, Aliexpress, EBay, Temu, Shien & Amazon that sell REAL fur tails (with a 99% chance of being cruel) as faux fur tails. You have to double check if the faux fur tail you want to buy is actually faux fur. This is often, but not always, accompanied by a chain that leads to a stump, and this stump is glued to the tail. - The tails are often, but not always, smaller and simply don't look healthy. Some shops glue/sew the leather inside shut so people cannot see the mold (ethical shops can glue/sew the leather shut for protection too however). - The whites of the tail is often, but not always, painted over. While this will of course always be a matter of personal opinion and perspective, people with this belief often do not know that ethical fur farms almost treat the animals as pets, by giving them plenty of free space to roam, (medically) caring for them, and euthanizing them without any pain. What one considers to be cruel or ethical is based on personal opinion to some degree. - There is a common belief that any hunting or trapping taking place within an area is considered cruel. While this will of course always be a matter of personal opinion and perspective, people with this belief often do not know that hunting/trapping is sometimes done to prevent overpopulation and to help the biodiversity of their area (illegal and unauthorized hunting/trapping takes place however!). Having too many predators within an area can result in too little grazers in an area, which leads to overgrown vegetations, which can harm the local ecosystems' habitat. Having too much grazers can lead to the same consequences but with overgrazed areas instead. Financially supporting authorized hunters/trappers can actively help nature management organizations and therewith nature in general. - Only certain species that are currently farmed: ranch/red foxes, blue/arctic foxes, finnraccoon/tanuki/raccoon dogs, mink, sables (but only really in Russia), and rabbits. Anything that isn't one of these species almost certainly came from an animal that was trapped or hunted, and definitely not from an animal that was farmed. Coyote tails are not farmed animals and therefore cannot be from cruel fur farms, instead they are sourced from hunting and trappers. - Most fur farms will not profit much off tails. It's okay if you do not want to financially support fur farms at all, but be mindful that not buying tails from fur farms won't make much of a difference in the financial state of fur farms. Because fur farms mostly profit off of fur coats instead, which are way more expensive. As a kid I used to really want to believe that I could turn into an animal, especially when I experienced shifts. But there was always this little voice in the back of my head reality checking me, saying that it wouldn't be possible. Kinda sad

When I was a child I used to run around like a fox and whenever I saw foxes I just like remember that strong connection that I felt to them also when I was younger I still do it feels like I have a tail and ears and Claws and all that
see this is what I like to notice. most people, even therians sometimes dislike furries and I think it’s wrong furries are super respectful and are just as good as therians.

when i was 8, i went on a vacation to colorado. my family and i were in a mountain-ish pine forest, when i got the urge to go on all fours. when they weren't looking, i did, and, years later, found out i was a bobcat therian. that was one of my first mental shifts 👍
Not sure if mines cruel fur farm it has the same chain 😔 but it looks healthy and poofy and doesnt feel real to me, i’ve pet wolf fur, ir doesnt feel real….but i did get it off of amazon…

When I was little I would cry if you didn’t let me call myself a wolf or dragon or cat. That stuffs. Once I was in the middle of the sidewalk in some dragon gear that my mum got me my sister said ‘You do know you’re not a animal, right?’ And I burst into tears. I was 7 and I’ve changed of course. I specifically remember watching a Disney film called brother bear with my sister when we were younger (maybe around 10-7 ages) and we’d crawl up and down the couch pretending we were the bears, picking ‘berries’ off the ‘bushes’ (our living room wall). I was always the older bear, and my sister the little one. It’s been a while scene I watched that film, and I’ve since awakened as a therian (red[?] fox, cat [??? Colour/breed??] Saint Bernard [a dog] and a Canadian moose) (I think I awakened around April this year?) anyway, when I’m spending my day focusing more on therianthropy, those memories pop up often, and I smile. Childhood is a happy, blissfully unaware thing.
one time i was going public gearing just for fun,and 13 teenage boys started mimicing me and my friend and tryed to force us to make 13 cheetah masks ,but we finally talked to an employee, apearently they have done this multiple times to therians and were kicked out

for the first video with the person recording i entirely understand that! me and my friend go public gearing when hanging out together which has lead to us one time catching a person following us home. we went to a park about a block away from my friends house just hanging out and doing some quads (btw not only was this my first time gearing in public it was my first time gearing since ive known i was therian) i was learning how to do quads with my friend whos also learning, we are having fun, running around, doing our own stuff etc! we ended up getting tired and it was late so we walked home, as we walked off playground zone two people walked by us onto the playground zone with their phone out and side eyeing us, we didnt even notice we just kept walking making fun of the way they looked at us. We made it into the back alley of her house and we looked to the other side of the alley to the two people we saw before following us with their phone pointed at us, i stayed calm and told my friend to keep their mask on and continue walking, they ended up going into the backyard of a differetn house so idk if it was following? i also no longer live in that town so it really only sucks if that video goes viral for them because that means they have to deal with that all the time and neither of our parents know abt it so it really sucks.

Fun fact: I went on holiday last Friday to this Friday (a week) and I met another therian. I love how adult I’ve u react on these! I do would like to tell a story about my Public Quadrobics: like two weeks ago I was just minding my own business and doing Quads at a “empty” park. As expected a boy, I think he was 6, saw me. I looked at him still on all fours to stunned to speak as I waved at him, he looked at me and then come closer looking shocked. I felt a bit embarrassed as I just stood there then he said: “Wow, I never saw somebody that weird before. You’re human right?” I saw him smirking then walking off. When I was in elementary school, me and my friends would always play “family”, and I was ALWAYS the family pet. I would walk on all fours and meow and bark depending on if I was a dog or cat that one day lol. Another game me and my friend’s used to play were “wolves” we would all walk on all fours, scavenge for leaves and howl. COMMON MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT FUR FARMS & HUNTING/TRAPPERS:
- There is a common belief that any fur farm can be considered cruel. While this will of course always be a matter of personal opinion and perspective, people with this belief often do not know that ethical fur farms almost treat the animals as pets, by giving them plenty of free space to roam, (medically) caring for them, and euthanizing them without any pain. What one considers to be cruel or ethical is based on personal opinion to some degree.
- There is a common belief that any hunting or trapping taking place within an area is considered cruel. While this will of course always be a matter of personal opinion and perspective, people with this belief often do not know that hunting/trapping is sometimes done to prevent overpopulation and to help the biodiversity of their area (illegal and unauthorized hunting/trapping takes place however!). Having too many predators within an area can result in too little grazers in an area, which leads to overgrown vegetations, which can harm the local ecosystems' habitat. Having too much grazers can lead to the same consequences but with overgrazed areas instead. Financially supporting authorized hunters/trappers can actively help nature management organizations and therewith nature in general.
- Only certain species that are currently farmed: ranch/red foxes, blue/arctic foxes, finnraccoon/tanuki/raccoon dogs, mink, sables (but only really in Russia), and rabbits. Anything that isn't one of these species almost certainly came from an animal that was trapped or hunted, and definitely not from an animal that was farmed. Coyote tails are not farmed animals and therefore cannot be from cruel fur farms, instead they are sourced from hunting and trappers.
- Most fur farms will not profit much off tails. It's okay if you do not want to financially support fur farms at all, but be mindful that not buying tails from fur farms won't make much of a difference in the financial state of fur farms. - It's important to realize that not wanting to support fur farms will also mean you have to do extensive research to know how to spot real fur from faux fur, even in products you do not expect. Real fur is simply a lot cheaper than faux fur. Therefore you'll find that jackets with those famous furry patches on the hood, also often has real fur. It's also important to realize that buying such fur products isn't much different from buying anything of real leather, such as leather shoes or bags.

I specifically remember watching a Disney film called brother bear with my sister when we were younger (maybe around 10-7 ages) and we’d crawl up and down the couch pretending we were the bears, picking ‘berries’ off the ‘bushes’ (our living room wall). I was always the older bear, and my sister the little one. It’s been a while scene I watched that film, and I’ve since awakened as a therian (red[?] fox, cat [??? Colour/breed??] Saint Bernard [a dog] and a Canadian moose) (I think I awakened around April this year?) anyway, when I’m spending my day focusing more on therianthropy, those memories pop up often, and I smile. Childhood is a happy, blissfully unaware thing.

for the first video with the person recording i entirely understand that! me and my friend go public gearing when hanging out together which has lead to us one time catching a person following us home. we went to a park about a block away from my friends house just hanging out and doing some quads (btw not only was this my first time gearing in public it was my first time gearing since ive known i was therian) i was learning how to do quads with my friend whos also learning, we are having fun, running around, doing our own stuff etc! we ended up getting tired and it was late so we walked home, as we walked off playground zone two people walked by us onto the playground zone with their phone out and side eyeing us, we didnt even notice we just kept walking making fun of the way they looked at us. We made it into the back alley of her house and we looked to the other side of the alley to the two people we saw before following us with their phone pointed at us, i stayed calm and told my friend to keep their mask on and continue walking, they ended up going into the backyard of a differetn house so idk if it was following? i also no longer live in that town so it really only sucks if that video goes viral for them because that means they have to deal with that all the time and neither of our parents know abt it so it really sucks.
